Nextbit Robin’s CDMA variant has been delayed to April

Nextbit has announced that the CDMA version of their cloud-focused smartphone — the Nextbit Robin — has been delayed. That variant of the smartphone will now arrive in April instead of its original February arrival expectation.

Nextbit says they were a bit too encouraged by the initial support for a CDMA model that they’d gotten overzealous in their original estimation. Good on them to own up to that instead of quietly delaying the smartphone without a peep to be had (like some other companies have been keen to do in the past).

That’s all the news we’ll get right now, though, as Nextbit isn’t confident enough to name a specific date in April. No matter — if folks really want the phone, they’ll likely wait as long as they have to in order to get it.
