The Amazon Echo, which has sneakily become an awesome device, keeps getting better. The latest new features to be added to Amazon’s voice assistant/speaker is all about movies and the NFL. Alexa (the name given to the speaker’s virtual assistant) can provide information about show times and the movies. You can ask things like “Alexa, what comedies are playing tonight?” or “tell me more about The Revenant.”

Alexa can now share scores from NFL games as well. Unfortunately, the NFL season is practically over, but the Super Bowl is in a couple of weeks. You can ask Alexa to give predictions for games, too. You can say “what’s the score of the Patriots game? or “who do you think will win between the Patriots and Broncos?” Whether or not you want to listen to Alexa’s predictions is up to you.

The Echo is currently $179.99 on Amazon right now. It’s a neat little device that can be the hub for a bunch of smart functions. If you’re interested in the Echo, it goes on sale a lot. Keep your eyes peeled for the next sale. Does anyone here have an Echo? How do you like it?
