Sprint’s LG G Stylo gets surprising update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow

0

We weren’t expecting anything other than flagships to be in line for Marshmallow before 2015 comes to a close, but Sprint and LG have let out a collective “screw that.” Android 6.0 is now headed out to the Sprint LG G Stylo.

There aren’t many details about the update, but we imagine it brings most of the Marshmallow essentials (Doze Mode, Google Now on Tap and more) with your typical LG coat of paint on top. To grab it, you’ll be looking for version LS770ZV7, and you can check for it by heading to Settings > About Phone.

Of course, Sprint is likely rolling this thing out in stages so don’t be too bummed if you don’t happen to be in line for the update right away. Be sure to check for it as often as you can.
