Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for the Nexus 6 is now rolling out [OTA DOWNLOAD]

After all the flashy new Nexus devices got Android 6.0.1, the Nexus 6 was feeling left out. Thankfully it didn’t take too long for yesteryear’s Nexus option to join the party as OTAs are starting to roll in.

Need to start from a fresh slate? Don’t forget factory images are also available, and instructions on flashing them can be found here. Changes in Android 6.0.1 as they pertain to the Nexus devices include new emojis, more LTE bands, double tap power to launch camera, do-not-disturb tweaks, the latest security patches and other general performance improvements and enhancements.
