Motorola infographic explains why “shatter-proof” displays are important

0

Earlier this week, the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 was announced by Verizon. The Turbo 2 has a lot going for it. The beefy battery will easily get you through more than one day, and the camera is much improved, but the thing Motorola is most proud about is the display. Not the size of it, or how many pixels it has, but the durability.

The Turbo 2 (and Moto X Force) have a shatter-proof display called ShatterShield. Long story short, it’s made of plastic and has several layers of protection. The result is a display that is nearly impossible to crack. During the event, Motorola talked about how people care about display durability more than anything else. Motorola has released an infographic to back up those claims. Check it out below (click for full size).
