Google Keep drawing update

Google Keep, while awesome, has managed to skate by all these years by offering up few features in the name of simplicity. And that’s fine, if you’re looking to jot down a quick note or make a shopping list. But you may have come across a time when you wanted to point something out in an image or heck, just wanted to draw a big ‘ol D on someone’s face and send it to them (you know who you are).

In the latest Google Keep update, you can finally do that. Rolling out now on the Play Store, Google Keep 3.2.435 now lets you create a doodle from scratch, or edit over images you’ve saved with annotations (or D pics). Using the handy select tool, you can even move around drawings for fine tuning. Of course, like most things Google, it’s still rolling out in stages but if you hate waiting, you can sideload the APK from us via the link below. Cheers.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.
