HTC has a big announcement going down today, and you’re probably wondering where you can watch it online. We’ve got the embed ready for you up above — keep it tuned there once the 12PM Eastern event commences.

As for what we’re expecting, HTC is likely to introduce the HTC One A9, the first phone aside from Nexus devices to ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. They’re hoping to amaze us in other ways as well, including the use of a new design language that should come off iPhone-like. This will also be one of the first widely-launched HTC phones with a fingerprint scanner.

Recent leaks revealed other details, including a bottom-facing speaker and the lack of USB Type-C. Those may or may not be bummers, depending on who you are.

Beyond that, the HTC One A9 isn’t expected to blow everyone out of the water in terms of sheer specs. It’s going to have a middling chipset in the Snapdragon 617, after all. That said, it should pack enough of a punch to be a fine smartphone for anyone to carry, and if the slightly skimpy internals lead to a more favorable price tag then we’re all for it. Swing back in a few hours to check out the official goods.
