YouTube Gaming is getting a huge update that adds the single most important feature for mobile gamers: the ability to broadcast your mobile games. Doing this required some tricky setups before, but with it built-in folks will finally be able to embrace the idea of streaming mobile video.

There’s one catch to get that feature: you’ll need to be on Android 5.0 Lollipop or higher. That’s a tough condition for many to meet, but it’s better than not having the feature at all.

There was a lot more to be had in the changelog, including the ability to donate to your favorite streamers, Watch Later support, an improved discovery experience and the ability to import existing subscriptions from your YouTube account. The update is live at Google Play so be sure to download it ASAP and give all the new features a whirl. We’ll be taking the video game broadcasting feature a spin for ourselves later, so stay tuned for first impressions!
