Full Nexus 5X specs leaked on Amazon India, includes Snapdragon 808, 5.2-inch 1080p display and more

We’ve already heard quite a bit about the Nexus 5X and what to expect in terms of internals, but it doesn’t hurt to get more solid corroboration from the world’s leading online retailer. Amazon India accidentally listed the LG-made Nexus 5X on their site (it has since been removed, of course), and the specs mentioned in the listing confirms that previous specs rumors were quite accurate.

Here’s what keeps it ticking, according to them:

  • 5.2-inch 1080p display
  • 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit chipset
  • 2GB of RAM and a minimum of 16GB of storage
  • 12.3MP rear camera, 5MP front camera
  • WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS w/ GLONASS, microUSB Type-C
  • Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light, Gyroscope, eCompass
  • 2,700mAh battery w/ Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow

The listing also suggests we’ll be seeing three different color options, which we’ve heard in previous rumors. There’s the usual selection of White and Black, but Amazon also had an “Ice Blue” option up. It’s possible this is the final retail name for the “Mint” color option that was hinted at in the aforementioned leak.

Unfortunately that’s all we would come to know from Amazon’s quick slip-up. There were no photos of the device available, though we’ve seen enough of those already to know what we’re getting ourselves into once Google makes the official announcements September 29th. we also got a quick look at the device’s retail packaging yesterday alongside our first clear look at Huawei’s Nexus 6P, so be sure to check those out if you haven’t already.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.
