Stick With Android app makes it ridiculously easy to, well, stick with Android

0

Earlier this week, Apple’s “Move to iOS” app made some significant waves in the news. It’s Apples first official Android app after all, even if the app is meant to help customers get away from Google’s beloved platform. It was also discovered that they didn’t actually make the app, which is either hilariously ironic or nothing of much surprise at all, depending on how you are.

And now there’s a direct counter: the all new Stick With Android app. With this app, it’s easy to declare your intention to stay on the platform you’re currently using. There’s a nice big button that lets you do that. Click it and, well, you did it!

You can click the button as many times as you want if you enjoy that tingly feeling it’s bound to send down your spine.

The description itself is pure gold:

Everything about Android is designed to be easy. That includes sticking with it. With just one step, you can keep your content automatically and securely on your Android device with the Stay on Android app. No need to save your stuff elsewhere before staying on Android. The Stay on Android app securely keeps you away from switching to another (worse) platform.

And the early Google Play reviews (which unsurprisingly add up to a perfect 5 stars) are even better:

It’s quite the funny way to ridicule Apple for their ballsy move, but we’re sure they won’t care less. Their app isn’t built to entice people to switch by showing you what could be if you were living in their la-la land — it’s merely a tool for those who already made the decision on their own free will, and if it can help make the process easier for anyone then it’s considered a win in their books. Still, you can’t help but to chortle just a bit.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

You should now be able to activate the Moto X Pure Edition on Verizon
