Google Sept 29th invite Phandroid

Invites have been sent out to the usual press (including yours truly) for a Sept 29th event in San Francisco. Google says to expect some tasty treats and “much s’more.” We have a good feeling not only will the new Nexus handsets be unveiled — the LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P — but possibly a new Chromecast and maybe, just maybe, an updated Nexus Player.

The event kicks off at 9AM Pacific where we’ll be sure to bring you all the latest from the event. Also, the event itself will be streamed live on Google’s YouTube account. Mark your calendars, folks!

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

You can now officially download Android Pay from the Google Play Store (as long as you’re in the US)
