2016 Honda Civic Sedan officially announced with support for Android Auto [VIDEO]

Announced last night during Honda’s live Civic event at YouTube Space LA, the car maker took the wraps off their all new, completely redesigned 2016 Honda Civic Sedan. With a bevy of exciting new updates, the one feature that perked our ears up was its support for Android Auto (and CarPlay). Other hardware specs include:

2016 Honda Civic Sedan specs

  • 2.0 liter 4-cylinder i-VTEC (LX and EX)
  • 1.5 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder auto-only (EX-T, EX-L)
  • Over 40MPG highway
  • 10 more HP over previous models
  • LED headlights and tail lights
  • Larger trunk and “largest cabin in the compact class”
  • 68lbs lighter than previous model
  • 12% more aerodynamic than previous model

2016 Honda Civic Sedan back

The 10th generation Honda Civic is due out this fall, followed by the Coupe, Si, 5-door, and a Type R model as well. You’ll have to wait until then to get more detailed specifications.
