[Update]: Service has been restored! Be sure to check your Nest product to make sure they’re working, and hit up the Nest forums at AndroidForums.com for further help from the community if you need it.

If you’re trying to login to your Nest thermostat or Dropcam through the Android app but keep getting a “Password Invalid” error despite knowing you’ve got the right password, don’t worry:

  • You’re not going crazy, lots of people are getting this error
  • Nest is aware of the problem and working on a fix

You can always check the status of the Nest network here. Which right now confirms the problem.
