Microsoft might be the last company you thought you’d be buying a fitness band from, but theirs is actually pretty good, and it’s on sale at Amazon right now. You can get $50 off, which takes it down to $150 (and free shipping if you’re patient enough).

The Microsoft Band has a built-in heart rate monitor and a small display which’ll give you quick notifications for email, social networking and messaging, as well as showing you the time, keeping you up to date on the amount of steps you take or current heart rate, and more. GPS is inside for tracking your routes on golf courses or when running. Microsoft even includes some basic workout guides for those who need a good starting point.

Microsoft’s Band is compatible with any Android phone running Android 4.3 or higher, so be sure you’re on something recent if you’re in the market. You can head right here to order one if all this sounds good to you.
