We’re still cleaning up from all that big LG Nexus 5 leak posted earlier today, but it seems Google isn’t done with us yet. They’ve now begun teasing their big Android M dessert name reveal. It could be anything — as long as 1. it’s sweet and 2. begins with the letter M.
We already told you guys we think it’ll be Android Marshmallow and most of you felt the same way. Of course, that’s just one of the more obvious choices (everyone knew Lollipop was going to be chosen before it was announced, right?). Even after the name is decided, there’s still the business of figuring out what the actual version number will be, but we wont get into that now.
In a new video uploaded by Googlers Nat and Lo — who recently started their own YouTube channel highlighting Google’s 20% Project — they’ve created a fun little music video about Android M and what the next name will be. They’re saying it’s a hint of what’s to come in their next video, so we’ll definitely keep our eyes peeled.
While there weren’t any spoilers in the video, at the very end of the video you can see someone painting what appears to be the next Android lawn statue. All you can see is white paint (could be the primer), angled legs, and a very normal Android-shaped body. We think that could be the biggest hint right there as marshmallows are cylinder shaped after all. Check out the video for yourself in its entirety down below.
