We’ve heard a lot about Huawei’s plans to build a Nexus phone to launch later this year, but what should we expect? There was no clue… until now. @evleaks has released some early information regarding the Huawei Nexus phone’s specs, and if the list is accurate then we should be in for quite the treat.

Here’s the quick rundown:

  • Snapdragon 820
  • 5.7-inch QHD display
  • Metal unibody build
  • Fingerprint Scanner

Annnd it’s supposed to be here Q4 2015, which is about on par with previous Nexus releases. Huawei has a lot riding on this release as it will be their first meaningful flagship smartphone to enter the United States and other major western territories in something other than unlocked or imported fashion.

We never doubted the company would bring the heat, and if the aforementioned specs are accurate we certainly won’t mind throwing our dollars their way later this year.
