Blizzard’s insanely popular card game Hearthstone is about to get another big content update. Just weeks after Blackrock Mountain we were treated to Tavern Brawl, and now something else is on the horizon as the company has set a save-the-date for July 22nd.
They did so by sending gaming media a package containing a scroll which, when opened, plays the theme song for the Argent Tournament from World of Warcraft. We’re not sure if that means anything on its own, but there it is. As for the message on that scroll:
Champions are gathering from around the world to witness the next exciting thing Hearthstone has in store. News travels far and wide in search of brave new faces ready to answer the call to arms — Are you one of them? Muster for battle and mark July 22 on your calendar. The next bit of news won’t come by carrier pigeon — thankfully, we have much better ways of communication now. Victory awaits!
Again, doesn’t tell us much. But it did do a decent job of getting us excited for whatever it is Blizzard has to show off once July 22nd comes. We’ll be sure to keep you posted!
