Sony has announced the Sony Xperia E4g. It’s a refreshed version of yesteryear’s Sony Xperia E4, except this one comes with LTE on board. The two devices share much of the same specs and features, including a 4.7-inch 960 x 540 display, a 5 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera, a 1.5GHz quad-core Mediatek processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and more.

Not the most exciting device on paper, but the Xperia E4G is meant to bring a decent smartphone experience to those who can’t shell out the money for a more powerful option. April is the earliest we’ll see it, and it’s retail price is set at about €129. Specific availability and pricing will depend on your carrier, of course, so be sure to keep your eye on your carrier of choice if you’re looking to snag one of these in a couple of months.

          2. better?

          3. haha I’ve been wanting to change it for a while….that was the push I needed =)

    2. Agreed. and then VZW can take that and call it the “Z4v Ultra” and bastardize the hell out of it so it ends up like a Z2 with leftover parts.

      1. I agree that really sucked, but you’re beating a dead horse man. Let’s just hope the z4 ultra is real. It’ll be my first xperia I honestly can’t stand my nexus 6 anymore.

    3. Might as well make a Nexus 7 2015 with cellular connectivity.

      1. No a 6.44 inch display with phone sized bezels isn’t tablet sized.

        1. So the fact that phones with screens a full inch smaller than the Z Ultra’s previous generation are called phablets doesn’t make you think that the next Z Ultra won’t practically be a tablet? Right.

          1. I’m not saying it’s not a big phone, but with decently sized bezels it’ll be more than manageble.
