Quick deal alert for folks on T-Mobile: they’re now taking $48 off the Nexus 6 when you use the coupon code NEXUS6DEAL. It’s not the most insane discount we’ve ever seen, but if you prefer to get your wares straight through T-Mobile for the various perks that can come with (such as Simple Choice payment plans and the JUMP! upgrade program) then it’s better than nothing.

The Nexus 6 was the first phone to ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop, and is also the first smartphone in the Nexus line that approaches tablet territory at a size just shy of 6 inches. There’s a lot of good we could say about the device right here, but our Nexus 6 review should do you more good (as well as some healthy discussion over at AndroidForums.com) to help you decide whether you want to take the plunge.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

Got a OnePlus One without CyanogenMod branding? There’s a good reason for that

  1. Nexus 6 has been my favorite phone ever… And I have had way too many to count… Top all around smartphone IMO.

    1. What is it that you love about the phone so much? I’m genuinely asking no sarcasm intended.

      1. There are many reasons : the screen is beautiful, it fits very nicely in my big mitts, the front facing speakers are on point, the build quality has been awesome; although I have read some have had issues with the back plate (I have had no issues) the battery life has been better than average for a phone this size, I am a huge wireless QI charging fan, and enjoy this feature tremendously. It works on Verizon wireless out of the box and just about any other carrier (GSM). (It is pure Lollipop goodness… Many reasons to love Lollipop as well.) The call quality is great so far with Verizon and the Bluetooth accessories that I have, connect quickly and work well with the device. (Moto 360, Moto Wireless Headphones) Processor speed has been able to handle anything that I throw at it without any lag.

        1. Thank you for the insight.

  2. hear hear king james. feel the same way. just like the first time i fired up my G-1 in 2008.
