google maps lane guidance

Google Maps has gotten a nice new upgrade for our friends in Europe. You’ll now enjoy a lane guidance feature that’ll help you find the best lane to drive in at the best time to make sure you don’t miss your exit. It’s especially useful for making sure you’re not stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic and needing to make multiple merges in a short distance, a situation that can be dangerous, frustrating and just overall sucky.

The feature is available for folks in Ireland, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, France and Italy. Your app shouldn’t need an update but double check the Google Play Store just to be sure, and the next time you’re on the road you should hear the app doing a bit more backseat driving to help you get to where you need to go.
