Android 5.0.1 factory images now available for Nexus 7, Nexus 9, and Nexus 10

Just as we suspected, Android 5.0.1 factory images are slowly becoming available for Nexus devices. Currently, only Android 5.0.1 for the Nexus 7 2013 (WiFi), Nexus 9 (WiFi), and Nexus 10 are available, but we’re sure more will be added shortly. You can download the necessary images via the link below.

  3. Nothing for the 2012 7 yet. Hopefully this will sort out the soul destroying sluggish performance that 5.0 brought when it does hit the 2012 model.

    1. By somehow magically replacing the sub-par NAND?

      1. Considering ART and everything is supposed to make things run well on old/cheap hardware I’d expect it to be reasonable performance even with the crap NAND that Asus used in everything that year.

  4. I don’t even have 5.0 on my Moto X yet.

  5. 5.0.1 was just pushed OTA to my Nexus 7 (2013) and has sucessfully installed. So far I haven’t had any of the issues/bugs mentioned by others, but it is nice to have the 5.0.1 update.

    2. Awesome – my OTAs never come so soon. I just sideloaded the OTA for my N7 2013 WiFi

  6. Need it for the Nexus 5. Lollipop is buggy as hell!

  7. Finally got the update the other day. Took nearly 45 minutes to complete and even longer get all the app updates.

    Not liking the all white now, especially the keyboard
