Ever since I flipped open my first phone I've been obsessed with the devices. I've dabbled in other platforms, but Android is where I feel most at home.

AOOOOO, didn’t see that one coming, did ya??

    1. srsly. lifehacker has been putting up these sponsored posts for vnp unlimited. this is by far the worst vpn out there. save your 20 bucks. you get what you pay for.

      1. Service works great for me.

  2. What phone is that?

    1. First thing I thought lol

    2. Anyone recognize that device?

    3. Probably not a real device, just a mock up to show the service

  3. Unlimited Traffic Bandwidth – VPN Unlimited doesn’t limit your traffic bandwidth, so there’s no need to worry about your data usage

Does this mean I can go above my 5GB LTE limit?

  4. that sexii bezel-less phone tho! what phone is that?

    1. The HTC one m8.

No, it’s actually probably just a fake mock-up to show the app.

  5. Used to use OpenVPN on my own VPS a lot, but now that most of the important sites use HTTPS, there’s not much worry of anyone sniffing your plaintext or running a man-in-the-middle hack.

If I was more paranoid, or I NEEDED the “bring *my* LAN to me over the WAN” functionality of a traditional VPN, I’d still be using it…

  6. Any VPN based in the United States I will never have a part of my life. Also, change the channel marge, this commercial is too subtle

  7. do you have to use an android app to connect to the VPN using your android phone? Just wondering if their standalone app is android 2.3 compatible, as the play store is saying it needs to be 4.0. I use my old 2.3 phone connected via HDMI as my “Smart TV” since I can control my old phone using my TV’s remote.

  8. Or you could just download OpenVPN Connect then download EasyOvpn both are on the play store and are completely free with access to list of servers all across the world.

  9. “Protect Online Activities – Hackers are no longer a problem because your internet activity and all data remains hidden and encrypted”
Thats’s not true, only the communication between you and the VPN is encrypted. Any unsecure connection made from the VPN point is still vulnerable…
