Premium-built Samsung Galaxy F breaks cover again in latest leaked press render

samsung galaxy f leakIf you were miffed about the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A’s goudy specs compared to the base flagship, you’re going to be even more upset with the supposed Samsung Galaxy F. This device is basically a Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A with a brushed metal backing, and it has leaked once again in press renders received by @evleaks.

It’s odd that Samsung isn’t opting to make this part of their Galaxy S lineup considering how powerful it is. It houses a Snapdragon 805 chipset, Quad HD display, 3GB of RAM and the like if recent rumors are to be believed. The press render confirms the return of the heart-rate sensor Samsung has grown a liking to, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see a fingerprint coming along for the ride (especially considering the lower-class Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini happened to get one of its own).

It’s understandable for users to feel upset about Samsung releasing a phone that’s supposed to be top of the line only to one-up it in the months to follow. That said, perhaps there’s no reason to fret — just as the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A likely won’t travel far outside of South Korea, there’s a possibility you won’t even get the option of buying the Samsung Galaxy F whenever it’s officially revealed. If that rationale isn’t working for you then let’s just hope this is some sort of “test” for Samsung’s metal build for future iterations of their flagship smartphones.

      sloooooooooooow news day

I’ll never understand why people get upset when a company releases a new phone. How does a new phone somehow break the one you have? If you didn’t like the phone in your hand, then why did you buy it?

    F-*-C-K Samsung.

I’m guessing it will be released only in South Korea to combat the LG G3 which is apparently outselling the S5. It’s also possible this is actually a mockup of the Note 4 and we just can’t see the S-Pen or bigger screen size.

Samsung have recently release galaxy S5 LTE-A (for south korea only), and it has the same hardware specs as galaxy F like 1440p display, 3GB ram and snapdragon 805

Only difference is that galaxy F uses metal and slightly larger display with tiny bezel. I do hope galaxy F is not south korea only.

This is one thing that’s nice about Apple, their product release cycle is predictable

Just wanted to point out that “goudy” isn’t an English word. There are lots of people and a type font named that, but no adjectives. If it’s slang, the Urban Dictionary entry for it doesn’t make the first page of Google results. Best I can figure, you invented a combination of “god awful” and “dowdy” because it was expected to be a high-powered phone but it isn’t. Kinda makes the whole article pointless.
