Watch Ellen Degeneres ridicule Google Glass in quick comedy skit [VIDEO]

We imagine resident Ellen Degeneres lover and Google Glass owner Chris Chavez wept when he saw one of his favorite TV personalities ridiculing Google Glass.

Ellen caught wind of Google’s one-day sale of the things yesterday, and joked that she’d found a pair on Craigslist for a mere $1,495 — that’s a whopping $5 discount! Here’s the goods starting at around the 53-second mark:

OK, so they’re not actual Google Glass, but they technically are Google glasses. Take that for what you will. Nothing like a good laugh to start off your Wednesday morning.

Not a funny show and the howling audience do nothing but make it more annoying.

Lol thats funny. Just remember all those people making fun about 4.3″ screen phones 2 years ago and now they are all so proud with their 5″ screen phones… People are silly and that’s ok, specially when they make us laugh.

This is annoying, although I’ll give it to her — it’s almost too easy to make fun of Google Glass. But between dumb sh*t like this and those SNL skits, the general public really does believe this is how Glass works (by violently shaking your head around). It’s like when you hear people in the barber shop talking about how Android is riddled with viruses because they read a single headline somewhere. -_-

Not to mention they dont realize that most likely their phones are running Android because everyone thinks I’ve got a Droid or Galaxy, not Android. Cute Mascot though. I hear that way to often.

I personally like Ellen as a person, but this was incredibly unfunny. And her audience full of middle age women that scream at everything is just incredibly painful to listen to.

Spot on Goolroid impression. Not a Ellen fan but have to admit that was funny.
Graphene is were it is at now.

I’ve had people ask me if my Google Glass can be controlled using my mind. I wonder where they’re getting this info from.
