We know it’s been keeping you up at night. Ever since Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen removed his smash hit game from both iOS and Android app stores, there’s been a void in our smartphones that can’t be filled. But worry no longer, Nguyen has officially confirmed via his Twitter account that the game will, in fact, be returning to the App Store (and likely the Play Store as well). No word on a specific time frame, with Dong only mentioning it wont be anytime soon. You can find his tweet below.

He is waiting to make flappy bird available on Project Morpheus so it can haunt you in virtual reality.
Just go away Dong, nobody cares about your stupid game or you anymore.
Isn’t that kind of the point? He didn’t want to attention and won’t put the game back up until no one cares anymore. I haven’t paid too much attention to the Flappy Bird craze, but this is the impression I’ve gotten.

He is smart man, he wants more people demanding for the game, so he can double his revenue… Just saying.
Honestly, I think he lost his chance. People will (and likely have already) move(d) on.
Plus, there is a bajillion of similar games on the market now.
These trends in games like this leave as fast as they come. He should have enjoyed the ride while it lasted.
