It was only last week that the Nexus 7 (2013) with 4G LTE became officially available in the Google Play Store, the US being the first country to claim dibs. From what I’ve been told, there are other a number of other countries around the world that would love for the opportunity to get their hands on this connected tab, and with that comes the good news.

Google has finally made the Nexus 7 with LTE available in a number of countries overseas, with the device finally making its Google Play Store debut in Europe, Asia, Australia, and more. Here’s the full list:

  • Australia
  • Canada
  • France
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • South Korea
  • Spain
  • United Kingdom
  • United States

In an unexpected turn, it appears that Italy has finally been added to the list of countries that can now purchase any-and-all devices from the Google Play Store. While they’ve already missed out on the Nexus 4, this opens up all models of the the Nexus 7 (2013), where they can enjoy Google Play services like Google Play Books, Play Music, and All Access. Don’t forget that with the Nexus 5 coming around the corner, Italy made it just in time. Welcome to the party.

  1. Why can’t there be all the Google Play Services here in Mexico and Italy can? how can this happen? :( I wihsed I had all those services…

  2. I don’t understand why Google is not releasing hardware in places without cellular subsidies and low income like China, India, Africa or Latin America. These are the places that really need a good and affordable unlocked phone. People would buy it in high numbers because they are used to buy phones at full retail price. Also now being ripped off with blackberrys and Nokias that nobody else wants.

  3. Can we make the calls to other mobile number using Nexus 4G lte tablet?

    1. No. It is only capable of data transfer until someone comes up with a mod. There are 3rd party apps, however that can make calls. But natively, The 2013 Nexus 7 does not support calling. Just like its older brother.
