Superman and Batman sale

What better way to spend the 4th of July than with your favorite all-American do-gooders, Superman and Batman. To help celebrate our nation’s independence, Warner Bros games has dropped the price of some of their hottest selling titles to just 99 cents.

Making a quick jump onto the Play Store you’ll find both the “Man of Steel” and “Batman: Arkham City Lockdown” dropped from their regular prices of around $6, to just a single dollar. That’s a pretty sweet discount.

Not sure how long this sale will last, but you might wanna get the jump if you’ve been eyeballing these titles. Those of you with iOS devices can find the same deal in Apple’s App Store (ducks). ‘Murica.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

      According to the developer, Man
of Steel is only optimized for the Nexus 7, Nexus 10, Asus Transformer
Prime, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy Note 2,
and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. This leaves out a whole lot of devices
like my HTC One and Samsung’s Galaxy S4.

  3. I’ll get the batman one, but the superman game is just a fighting game with low ratings regarding stability

  4. “Earth’s Mightiest Heroes?”

    That’s the AVENGERS, noob.

  5. My device is not compatible… Sigh Thanx for making my galaxy nexus feel old :-/

    1. Nexus 4 not compatible either. Nexus 7 is though.

      1. Don’t know if you’re referring to the batman game, but it’s for tablets only. Found out when I clicked the link on my Note 2, which isn’t compatible.

  6. According to the developer, Man of Steel is only optimized for the Nexus 7, Nexus 10, Asus Transformer Prime, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. This leaves out a whole lot of devices like my HTC One and Samsung’s Galaxy S4.

    1. note all of that were older device. HTC One and S4 just coming out so the support will come later actually. most likely dev can’t get their hands on both phones when the title still under development. in the end phone will be always be a phone. this is not dedicated gaming device where hardware maker will provide their hardware in advance to developer before the actual phones officially launch so they can optimized their game for it

  7. Not compatible with my Nexus 4? What kind of program isn’t compatible with the most open of all phones? What a joke.

  8. This game is no go…

  9. Neither my galaxy s3 or my galaxy note 10.1 are compatible with Batman? Boo!

  10. The incomparability issue for is that it is not available in my country.. All 5 of my android devices are incompatible for this reason. Well done Google. Really well done.. I have three different countries across the devices as well, none in the US. Oh well. Just another kick for non US consumers.

Also, Phandroid, this new Disqus thing is BS! Yet another social media account for the same process????????

    1. Phandroid been using disqus for well over a year, you just noticing?

      1. The Disqus thing has now only jsut become compulsory. Before I could post a comment with my Twitter, but this time I had to register with Disqus to do so even though I logged in with Twitter. Just adding yet another pointless account to the myriad…

        1. Interesting, I didn’t know that. But you can use disqus on SOO many sites/blogs that I really couldn’t do without mine to be honest

  11. When an app pops up “not compatible” I simply hit up the hacked game sites.

  12. Not compatible with Droid Dna
