8GB white Nexus 4 with bumper sold out

Well, that didn’t take long. Then again, I guess there was never much supply to begin with. In either case, the white Nexus 4 (8GB) is now officially “no longer available for sale” through the Google Play Store.

True to its name, Google was always upfront about it’s “limited” status, and even though it’s possible it could return sans bumper, there’s a good chance this will be the last we’ll see of the white model in this storage configuration.

No matter. For most, the 8GB version of the Nexus 4 was too limited in storage to be an enticing option for anyone, even at $300. I mean, c’mon… 8GB is barely enough to store my… collection of rare…. animals from around the world. Yes. If you were really set on this color, keep in mind the white 16GB Nexus 4 is still available and looking for a home.

  1. Storage for rare animal photos is important.

    1. I mean, my collection of Blue Footed Booby photos is a must have. Never know when I’ll get that urge to look at such beautifully exotic Boobies

    2. “rare animals”

    3. Jesus… Who can live with 8GB?

  2. 16gb is enough for your animal collection? mine requires at least 128gb. and I wish companies would make phones with more memory. I want to store all my music in .flac format but each song would be 30+mb

  3. In a few years, we probably wont even be needing any memory. I used to be using 20-30 gb on my first smart phones. I now have a nexus 4 8gb and still have 2 4 gbs remaining. I use pandora for music, dropbox/drive for storage, and everything else is probably stored in some database in Alaska haha.

  4. 8 gig… that’s too much! !! 32/64 is ideal for non sd slot. We’re on the middle of 2013 and why those 8/16 gigs of ROM still exist for high end phones?
    What do they think to us. .. i d i o t t t ! ! !

  5. This is a damn shame.. *continues on with life*

  6. I bought the 8gb nexus 4 because 8 GB is enough for me. At this point I really only need enough room for the apps since everything else makes its way to me over various frequencies of radio waves thanks to Google+ (photos), Play Music All Access, Play Books, Chrome, and Google Now.

    1. This is all good end everything but there are times when I don’t want to depend on my data connection for everything.

      1. Or when you are in an area with no data coverage. It happens.

        1. That is why you can pin for offline! I have the 8gb and I was surprised I never filled it up. Even when I went on vaca and took a lot of pictures!

  7. Hmm that means the Nexus 5 is around the corner…

  8. 8 gigs isn’t enough for my adult entertainment.

  9. The 16GB White N4 w/wireless charging module is available for $408 @ T-MOBILE.

  10. Look guys check out T-Mobile and get it from them they have it for free no contract you only pay taxes and you can cancel the service after receiving the device and just pay them the balance which is what the phone is worth and comes with a wireless charger even though it says free wireless charge it really isnt free since the cost is $417.00 for the whole thing that’s what i did.
