Getting big celebrity endorsements for your tech brand is all the rage these days! Samsung is reportedly joining the fold with new rumors that the South Korean company will ink a $20 million deal with rap superstar and entrepreneur Jay-Z at some point next week. Further terms of the agreement weren’t mentioned, but we imagine this will come with some sort of long-term endorsement setup and/or Jay-Z getting his own fake corporate title with Samsung.

Whatever it is, it will have to be major. It isn’t very easy to attract Jay-Z’s attention, so when a deal like this goes down you have to imagine he’s either really excited about what Samsung is doing or simply really excited about those dollar signs and zeroes. Either way, it’s an interesting development that we’re eager to learn about in the days and weeks to come.

  6. Allow me to throw up now. JayZ is a racist garbage peddler.

    1. bringing a voice to the struggles of a people isn’t racist.

      1. No, but telling people to vote on the United States president based on his skin color is. Not to mention the hundreds of other examples that can be found in his degrading and regressive “rap” lyrics.

        1. Degrading to who?

          1. Everyone within earshot, I’d say.

        2. Wait… Jayz racist to white people? Lol.

          1. Oh wait…. sorry. You’re right. I forgot that only whites can be racist.

          2. If you wanna be technical.. Racism is the prejudiced belief that one race is superior to the other. Where has Jayz said that???
Back to the topic.. When have you witnessed Jayz being racist. Don’t Copp out.

          3. Everytime he says (N***a) he is degrading the black race, I would consider that racist

          4. So you’re now saying Jayz is racist towards blacks…? Ooooh… Alright guy lol. Whatever works.

          5. It is explained above. His merits of his presidential endorsement, rap lyrics, and specific involvement in racist organizations.

        3. It’s obvious you’re one of the fools who skim through instead of listen to the music, but to each their own. As if romney or mccain would have been a great choice anyway. I’m guessing you mad Bachman didnt make the cut?

          2. I can definitely agree with that.

          3. I guess it’s par for the course to flip the conversation when I prove his racial bias.

          4. I would have thought you would have had a lyric or some reference point for the argument. But I guess not. Looks like a double bogey to me.

          5. Jay-Z: “My president is black, in fact he’s half white/So even in a racist mind he’s half right/If you’ve got a racist mind it’s alright/My president is black, but his house is all white!”

“…never thought I’d say this s***, baby I’m good. you can keep your p**** because I don’t want no more Bush. no more war. no more iraq. no more white lies, my president is black”

“…no more white lies, my president is black!…”

            http://popculturemadness.blogspot.com/2009/01/jay-zs-racist-rant-at-inaugural-ball.html

Oh, and here are the lyrics to his racist song: http://www.mp3lyrics.org/j/jay-z/my-president-is/

            Enjoy.

          6. That’s it. This is what you have to label the man a racist. Every president before Obama was white, and many told lies to the American people. Sounds like truth to me. Its not as if he reference s white people by any ignorant names or cultural stereotypes. Its not like he’s don Imus.

          7. No, that’s not every example out of hundreds. You asked for a lyric, I gave you one.

And for the record, that is the 2nd deflection in two posts. Congrats.

[p.s. Don Imus never said anything racist. Insulting, sure… but not aimed at a specific race. But screw the facts, let’s just run with your version of history]

          8. Don Imus referred to the Rutgers University women’s basketball team, which is comprised of eight African-American and two white players, as “nappy-headed hos. I guess that didn’t really happen on morning talk radio.

I’ll run with my version of history.

          9. His comment still has nothing to do with race. At all. It seems you can’t cope with that, so you run with your own delusions.

The fact of the matter is, that most of the team did in fact have actually nappy heads (a term given to people with unkept, messy hair). And as far as him calling them “hoes”, I’m sure their reputation preceded them as being sleezy.

Underhanded comments? Sure. Racist comments? No.

          10. If you can’t see the racist comments in that, then your sir have to be, easily, one of THEE, stupidist s.o.b., who’s trolling this thread. I’m sure your parents, who had that sibling love, are proud of their son/nephew.

          11. I see you have resorted to this garbage now that your idiotic stance on this issues has been busted wide open.

            Thanks for playing.

          12. You’re welcome. Your presence on these issues was welcome entertainment indeed.

          13. And your shameless defeat in a debate was entertaining for me.

          14. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You’re far too kind.

          15. He gave you lyrics written by Young Jeezy… that Jay-Z happened to do a remix for long after it became popular.

        4. He never told anyone to vote for the man because he was black. The song “My President” came out *AFTER* he was elected… and it isn’t Jay-z’s song either… it’s Young Jeezy, dummy.

          1. Allow me to quote Jay-Z: “I gotta respect a man who is the first black President ever”

Sing it, wrote it… doesn’t matter.

          2. So you have no respect for history? JFK was the first and only Roman Catholic president. Do we not respect him for cutting thru the prejudices and making it a viable office for all Roman Catholics? Do we not celebrate his achievement in the history books? Please… you’re looking for reasons to justify your ignorance. Keep looking, maybe some day you’ll find it.

          3. Maybe….. just maybe we should actually celebrate someones rise to presidency based on the merits of them be fully qualified for the job, rather than their skin color, ethnicity, or religious beliefs?

If there is ignorance here, it’s your attempt to change the subject from Jay-Z the proven racist, to JFK being a catholic.

          4. So now he and JFK are unqualified? Please. I suppose Jackie Robinson wasn’t good enough to play in the Majors, even though he’s best known as the first black player in the league. I suppose Bill Russell wasn’t qualified to be the first black coach in the NBA after his playing career at the Celtics either. Please. It’s called institutional racism, and the first black president *is* and always will be a big deal. You haven’t proven Jay-Z is a racist, you’ve proven that you’re racist, since you can’t look beyond that objectively to everything each has done that has made them successful.

          5. [So now he and JFK are unqualified?]

I never said JFK was unqualified to be president… nice straw man.

[ I suppose Jackie Robinson wasn’t good enough to play in the Majors, even though he’s best known as the first black player in the league.]

ROFL, you must be a pro at race baiting.

[ I suppose Bill Russell wasn’t qualified to be the first black coach in the NBA after his playing career at the Celtics either.]

Ooh, you have more off topic garbage to spew? Nice.

[and the first black president *is* and always will be a big deal.]

A big deal to people who actually give a crap about a persons skin color, yeah. You’re right about that.

            [You haven’t proven Jay-Z is a racist, you’ve proven that you’re racist]

I absolutely HAVE proven Jay-Z to be a racist. Sorry that you don’t like it, but I have pointed it out quite well. Calling people to vote a man to an elected office based on his skin color is 100% the definition of racist.

          6. He never called on anyone to vote for him because he was black. We already went over this. Young Jeezy wrote, performed, and released that song *AFTER* he was elected, in a landslide, by whites and blacks alike. Young Jeezy is not Jay-Z, to highlight your racism, since you obviously can’t tell the difference – and it isn’t racist anyway. You’re racist for thinking it is, to add to the many reasons why you are and are in deep denial. Here’s a little lesson in comprehension of the English language, to say you respect a man for becoming the first black president quite simply means – what he accomplished is monumental, and he deserves respect from anyone for this fact.

          7. [He never called on anyone to vote for him because he was black. We already went over this.]

            He absolutely did; several times.

[Young Jeezy wrote, performed, and released that song *AFTER* he was elected, in a landslide, by whites and blacks alike. Young Jeezy is not Jay-Z, to highlight your racism, since you obviously can’t tell the difference]

I heard the lyrics come from Jay-Z’s mouth. Does it matter who wrote it first? You keep trying to make this moronic point over and over again… I have no idea why.

            [and it isn’t racist anyway]

Ok. then the next time a white man is elected president, I am going to parade around and claim white power victory over the white house. Vote right, vote white. And I dare you to call it racist.

[You’re racist for thinking it is, to add to the many reasons why you are and are in deep denial.]

You haven’t expressed one single logical thought as to why I am “a racist”. Other than you being brainwashed into thinking that you win an argument by calling someone a racist; it makes you look stupid.

[Here’s a little lesson in comprehension of the English language, to say you respect a man for becoming the first black president quite simply means – what he accomplished is monumental, and he deserves respect from anyone for this fact.]

Annnnnnd here we go again. You are just too dumb to understand that is is RACIST to celebrate BASED ON HIS SKIN COLOR.

SKIN COLOR IS NOT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT.

SKIN COLOR IS NOT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT.

SKIN COLOR IS NOT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT.

            Understand now? No?

          8. OK, racistpatriot. Since you don’t understand the English language, I’ll explain it again. To respect the man for being the first black president *is not racist* it is celebratory for completing a monumental task and beating down the highest level of institutional racism in the country, the presidency; and it opens up possibilities to end institutional racism throughout the government. Period. End of discussion. You are an absolute fool for not being able to comprehend this. You are a complete and utter racist. And you’re politics suck and nearly led to the economic collapse of this great nation. Go find a talking points memo for that one.

          9. Probably about the 15th time you have not responded to anything I have said and merely continue to based your argument around straw men and accusations of racism. You are a troll.

          10. I respond to you every time, racist. It isn’t my problem you have zero reading comprehension ability. Go cry some more about being white and hate some more.

          11. In every single response, you have only called me a racist instead of actually responding to the topic at hand.

I actually feel sorry for you.

          12. In every single response, I have addressed your questions in full, and identified precisely why you’re a racist in each at the same time. That’s called multitasking, racist.

          13. No, you have trolled every single one of my posts calling me a racist and never actually discussing the topic like a sane adult.

          14. I did discuss the topic like a sane adult, racist. Your propaganda has failed you. I’ve told you why you’re a racist. I’ve told you why you’re wrong. Yet you keep spewing your propaganda like a total moron.

          15. To have the first black president was an inspiration. Theres no way around it and celebrating it isnt racist. The next day at work everuone was like “omg i cant believe it” and all that stuff. It wasn’t only the black people either. Actually, there were no black people at work but it was still a big deal.

          16. How? Why are we celebrating someone’s skin color? Skin color is not an achievement.

          17. Its an achievement for african americans as a race. Something similar will happen when we have a woman president. Will that make someone sexist?

          18. Talk to me when white people are hated and called racist next time a white man or woman makes it to the white house.

You cannot tell me they will be absolutely lambasted with hate and racism accusation .

          19. This isn’t racist.

          20. voting someone in office based on skin color isn’t racist?

Ok then… vote right, vote white!

        5. when did jay-z do any of what you are saying. and please quote us some of those degrading lyrics.

      2. thanks for a good laugh

        1. I felt the same way when I saw your avatar. Go Heat.

      3. They put themselves in that struggle, they have more opportunities than most people but waste it away. Hence free college while my girlfriend and I will be graduating with close to $200,000 in debt though i’m in the top 5% of the school and she is 1st in her class but neither of us can get any financial aid besides our scholarships which are puny compared to the idiots playing on the basketball team.

        1. Sound like you and your girl put yourself in a struggle with all that debt. Good luck on that first job. Im sure you’ll be top competition.

        2. I’m sorry, your hate seems to be wildly misguided. “Free college” doesn’t exist. “idiots playing on the basketball team” are there no “idiots” on the football team, swim team, lacrosse team, volleyball team, baseball team, etc?

“more Opportunities than most” is laughable. Opportunities are so limited that even when they do go to school and graduate they still have a tougher post graduate road because of the hatred and racism that still exists in people like yourself. Women have similar but different struggles in which they are judged differently and have shorter leashes in the work force. Pick up a book and dont just spew out random stuff you hear from your buddy on the porch.

          1. [“Free college” doesn’t exist.]

It does for minorities, Immigrant, and illegal immigrants. Do some research.

          2. there are individuals who do get grants, yes. But there is no checkbox that says if you are minority or immigrant you dont have to pay tuition. There are actually are higher number of Caucasians receiving grants, i could try and find the source for you in a bit. And as far as fnancial aid goes, the vast majority of it is a loan. I’m a minority and i pay the exact same amount of tuition as the guy next to me.

          3. [But there is no checkbox that says if you are minority or immigrant you dont have to pay tuition.]

Never said that. But then again… I have never come across a “white college” either. Find all the “statistics” you want, but none of them are going to prove my statement wrong:

“It does for minorities, Immigrant, and illegal immigrants. Do some research.”

And sure, there are plenty of non-minority getting free rides to college. My point is that you are naive to think that all people are truly treated as equals when it comes to handing out scholarships and grants.

Like it or not, there are actually scholarships out there that you can get based on your skin color.

          4. Your statement implied that minority and immigrant students were receiving something that white students were not. Which is not the case. In fact they receive these benefits in order to level out the playing field since they don’t have access to the resources and connections that others have. My stats were going to prove that they received less than the amount dispersed for Caucasian students there for there is no reason to be upset on your end. Yes there are historically black colleges, but you seem to harp on the name rather than on the intent of the school. Those schools were originally created to create a learning environment where students did not have to deal with the constant hatred and discrimination, and were created to help connect a professional network of minorities that you can connect with, when non minorities were less willing to connect with them. I personally do not agree with these universities, as the world is diverse and i believe in a diverse learning environment. That being said, i understand why some people might want to go to one of these universities and most importantly, any white person can attend one of these schools if he or she so wishes.

There are scholarships that are given out based on skin color, there are also jobs given out that are based on lack of color in your skin. There is also that unwritten rule that a minority must have extraordinary credentials to be on the same playing field as a non minority with satisfactory ones. Now of course, this varies greatly depending on your location, much less of an issue in New York City than it is in the Southern States, but these issues are problems. It’s fine if you disagree with the system and you have alternative ideas, but do not act like there’s free money for most minorities that and most white Americans have a much tougher road.

          5. [Your statement implied that minority and immigrant students were receiving something that white students were not. Which is not the case.]

I explained my statement well enough.

[In fact they receive these benefits in order to level out the playing field since they don’t have access to the resources and connections that others have.]

Are you trying to say that having black skin makes you underprivileged and outsourced?

[Yes there are historically black colleges, but you seem to harp on the name rather than on the intent of the school.]

You mean kind of like an organization still around that promotes people with dark skin over that of white skin? Seems to me both concepts have been outdated and should be closed down.

[any white person can attend one of these schools if he or she so wishes.]

Then allow me to create a “white college”. And we can call it even.

[There is also that unwritten rule that a minority must have extraordinary credentials to be on the same playing field as a non minority with satisfactory ones.]

ROFL! And I guess all white people are secretly planning to kill all blacks too?

[Now of course, this varies greatly depending on your location, much less of an issue in New York City than it is in the Southern States,]

            Geographic location makes you racist?

[but do not act like there’s free money for most minorities that and most white Americans have a much tougher road.]

I am not trying to convey that message. Nice straw man. Everyone struggles the same. stop acting like blacks are perpetual victims of whitey.

          6. Yes actually to many of your questions. I’m not calling you a racist personally, but i can tell by your response that you aren’t exactly in touch with race and gender and sexual orientation related issues.

Geographic location doesn’t make you a racist personally, but certain geographic locations do have different cultures when dealing with different races. For example, in NY or sanfrancisco there are gay pride parades and people marching for gay rights, where as in other cities there are people boycotting the right for gays to marry. I think it was this school in Alabama or Georgia, that had its first non segregated prom. There are restaurants in certain cities that won’t serve large black people still.

This is the thing, i’m not saying black people cant make it, i’m not saying white people are evil, you seem to love extremes. I’m saying yes minorities in general are at a disadvantage in general when it comes to this country. Everyone does have struggles, and some more so than others. But the reason these institutions exist, and the reason the song “my president is black” was created was because of these disadvantages that these people deal with on a day to day basis. Maybe you don’t see it. that’s fine. I don’t see all the disadvantages that women have all the time, but sometimes i do, and when i do i shake my head and I try to correct such behavior. I’m not pertraying blacks are some victim of whitey, the past is the past and im not concerned with that. I’m concerned with the inequalities that exist today across all levels, skin color, economic classes, gender, sexuality. One of those things just happens to be color, and this is one of the ways that try to offset that disadvantage.

          7. [I’m not calling you a racist personally, but i can tell by your response that you aren’t exactly in touch with race and gender and sexual orientation related issues.]

Glad to know you can make such a broad generalization based on very little conversation. I can do the same thing: You seem to be an extremely naive person who thinks white conservative minded people are responsible for every negative thing in the universe.

            See how that works?

[Geographic location doesn’t make you a racist personally, but certain geographic locations do have different cultures when dealing with different races.]

So again… geography (being, physical location here on earth) determines your ethical reasoning. Do you realize how stupid that sounds?

[ For example, in NY or sanfrancisco there are gay pride parades and people marching for gay rights, where as in other cities there are people boycotting the right for gays to marry.]

Look, let’s keep this on topic please. I would counter your false argument, but not here in this article.

[There are restaurants in certain cities that won’t serve large black people still.]

And? Label that restaurant owner as racist and move along. You trying to act like that somehow makes all white people racist?

[ I’m saying yes minorities in general are at a disadvantage in general when it comes to this country.]

No they are not. Every single person in this nation has the opportunity to make something of themselves. And you are a fool to think that skin color or being less in population makes you disadvantaged. That is extremely insulting to the very ones you claim to be championing.

[and the reason the song “my president is black” was created was because of these disadvantages that these people deal with on a day to day basis.]

No, that song was created because they were celebrating based on the color of his skin… and not the merits of his qualifications as a PERSON. Which is R A C I S T. If a country artist came out with a song during next election that celebrated the next “white” president, you would be red with rage.

[ I’m not pertraying blacks are some victim of whitey]

Yes, you are. With statements like this: “minorities in general are at a disadvantage in general when it comes to this country”. You are directly saying that they are underprivileged because of their skin color or ethnicity.

          8. You seem to have difficulty differentiating between recognizing a problem and crucifying people. “woman make 70% of what their male counterparts make while performing the same tasks” I’m sure you’ve seen that one before. Now someone can tell me that and I don’t accuse them of male bashing and blaming men for the downfall of society. I can recognize it as an issue that women would like to tackle, and therefor any club meetings that I have seen around universities like “women in business,” i dont label them as sexist. I see them as support groups for women who have to fight stereotypes constantly in the office. Stereotypes which i have seen first hand. I’m ok with those groups because I think it helps prepare them for an uphill battle.

I do label that restaurant owner racist, but the fact that you refuse to admit that that situation can happen more times in one location vs another means that you clearly are just arguing for the sake of arguing and have no intent on actually addressing these issues. Either that or you are just completely ignorant to the world around you.

There will be celebrations when there is the first woman president. Will that be sexist? No. I understand that it might be difficult for you to comprehend. But your closed mindedness to the situation while at the same time passing judgement is exactly why these groups and song lyrics exist.

And again I can say that people with darker skin tones and women have more of an uphill battle, and that’s just the way it is. no sense in complaining about it, just have to deal with it and try to eliminate it. I’m not running around saying “whitey is holdin us down,” i’m saying there are things in the current system that put certain people in a more disadvantaged position than others. That hate exists in this world for those people, and even going by your statement “free college exists for minorities and immigrants” while not mentioning the free college for white students proves my point of there being some resistance in the work force based off of these factors.

There’s Resistance in the workforce and everyday life, these things are meant to overcome that. And again i’d appreciate your argument more if you came up with a better solution, but by simply pretending that racism doesn’t exist on a large scale just makes you look very ignorant and angry. I’m sorry if one of these programs has somehow affected you negatively. And that should be discussed based on the negative impacts, not by acting like there is no problem to begin with.

          9. [“woman make 70% of what their male counterparts make while performing the same tasks”]

I have actually studied this topic, and the answer isn’t what you are trying to push. The largest answer is because women tend to be way less aggressive than men when negotiating salary.

I’d had these same arguments before, and I’m sick of the accusations and talking points that are never backed up by facts. I’m not even going to talk about the rest of your ridiculous long winded straw man argument. Lost count around the 7 mark.

          10. this is the thing, you ignore the actual arguments that i propose and try to twist around on an example. Yes salary negotiations is a big reason but its not the only reason, also add in the factor of employers worried about women potentially putting family before work, and fear of emotions, etc. But I wasn’t even arguing whether or not women make 70% and why, i was simply addressing the fact that a lot of people can hear that statement and not feel attacked. You, however, hear anything about inequality and you automatically feel attacked and act as if someone is blaming you. I’m simply stating that inequality exists, you seem to think that it doesn’t. You either have very good intentions and think very highly of everyone, or you are just trying to ignore the facts because it somehow makes you feel worse about yourself? I’m going to say it again, its fine if you dont agree with the “solutions,” but just acknowledge the problem. You are being very ignorant to the fact that different people are treated differently than you are. Statements made on this site prove that fact. Its looked down upon when black people that get basketball scholarships yet white people get scholarships for basketball as well as other sports. People arent always treated equal everywhere. Fact of life.

          11. [i was simply addressing the fact that a lot of people can hear that statement and not feel attacked. You, however, hear anything about inequality and you automatically feel attacked and act as if someone is blaming you.]

No, you were bringing that up because you wanted to stomp your liberal feet around and act like women and blacks are somehow being held down by white men.

And that is the only reason you even brought it up. I clearly spelled out to you the exact reason why women make less money than men in most cases; and you turn it into a diatribe.

[I’m simply stating that inequality exists, you seem to think that it doesn’t. You either have very good intentions and think very highly of everyone, or you are just trying to ignore the facts because it somehow makes you feel worse about yourself? I’m going to say it again, its fine if you dont agree with the “solutions,” but just acknowledge the problem.]

I have absolutely no idea how you got this far off the topic of Jay-Z. You are setting a tragic stage, creating a false argument, and then attacking me for not going WAY off topic with you to solve some grand scale problem of society. Get a grip here….

[Its looked down upon when black people that get basketball scholarships yet white people get scholarships for basketball as well as other sports.]

That is an incoherent sentence. Doesn’t make sense at all.

          12. lol you sound like my girlfriend when she is PMSing. Stop trying to read between the lines and take my statements for face value. I’m not bringing things up to “stomp my liberal feet around” i brought it up for the same reason i said i brought it up twice already. “i can hear a statement like that n not feel like that individual is attacking men, and that seems like something you cannot do” I’m not attacking you for holding anyone down, i’m not blaming whitey for anything, other people besides white people can be racists too. People hate on muslims, on mexicans, etc. There’s ton of racism in this world. You seem to think there isnt. I’m simply stating that there is inequality in this country and there are programs built to try and overcome it. If there wasnt any inequality then these programs would not exist, people would not donate their time and resources.

This is on topic with the jay z argument, because i was explaining how that song was a song of celebrating the fact that we have a president that broke the color barrier not saying blacks were superior to whites. He was proud that for the first time there was a minority in office, despite all of the racial hate aimed in his direction. Much like it was celebrated when jackie robinson broke into the MLB or how it will be celebrated when we have our first woman president. They are celebrating equality. So its still very related. And i will go back to what i was saying, if you don’t like how its done then say that but don’t say it doesn’t need to be done.

Yes that sentence was incomplete, allow me to rephrase it. It’s looked down upon when a black athlete gets a basketball scholarship because he doesn’t deserve “free college,” yet a white athlete who gets a scholarship for basketball or lacrosse or volleyball or swimming or baseball or hockey deserves his “free college.”

I don’t know why you are so sensitive to the subject, i never said you did anything. I simply stated minorities have been and are still be discriminated against in many aspects of life. So when progress is made, people celebrate.

          13. If minorities in this country had not been discriminated against so blatantly when it comes to education, employment and housing maybe there would not have been a need to create “black colleges ‘ (as you call them) so that people of color could have an opportunity to get a college education. If America wasn’t so hateful maybe there would not have been a need to establish laws to protect the basic human rights of individuals who were born here but still classified as less than a complete person. You never came across a white college? What do you call a college that restricts people from attending just because they aren’t white? Most of your most prominent colleges and universities were white only for the majority of their existence.
You might need a history lesson.

          14. except it doesn’t. Do some research. As a white college graduate that paid his own damn way, I got just as many grants and loans as anyone else. The difference between me and you? I didn’t go in under the assumption others didn’t have to apply for them to get them and so I should have them gifted to me too – I applied. Add another reason here on why you’re a racist.

          15. LOL, I am racist because I know that illegal immigrants and legal immigrants get taxpayer money to go to school here? They are afforded opportunities that even our own people do not get.

And yes, I am STILL right about black colleges. Seems you don’t even want to discuss what I am talking about, so you resort to calling me racist like any other trained liberal.

          16. You are a racist, and I did talk to you about the issue. Anyone can apply for grants. Anyone. There are ones for all kinds of specific situations. You’re just too much of a lazy whiner to look into that or apply. You just want to blame your piss-poor life on others, and your racism makes blacks and Latino immigrants prime targets so you hone in on them. Enjoy your day, racist patriot.

          17. That’s probably the 14th time you have called me a racist with out addressing a SINGLE THING that I have said in my post.

Maybe you should grow up before engaging in a conversation.

          18. I respond to everything in your posts, racist. Maybe you should go take English 101.

          19. Perhaps you need lesson in etiquette and debate style. Calling the other person a racist 1,000 times isn’t a good way to win.

          20. It isn’t necessary, I won the moment you said “those people” and “illegal immigrants,” racist. Racists deserve no etiquette.

          21. How old are you? I would have to take a serious guess of 16-17.

            Troll onward!

          22. Here’s a hint. In my 30s, racist. Go get an education and quit trying to use propaganda to make a point. Come back when your IQ plateaus 90. Let me start your education for you. “Illegal Immigrant” is a racist term. Not only that, it’s antisemitic. It’s first use was to describe the sudden influx of Jews into England in the 1930s from Germany and Poland as they fled a certain individual. Boy, are they embarrassed of coining that term, yet racists like you continue to use it proudly. It’s like you think we don’t know you’re referring to Mexicans, or people you’re too stupid to realize aren’t Mexicans – like people from El Salvador, Belize, Costa Rica, Honduras…. Racistpatriot, bankrupt on ideas, uneducated and downright ignorant. The standard bearer for the tea party where stupidity and entitlement are celebrated.

          23. what was your argument on black colleges because I have a feeling I may agree with you? But from scrolling through this thread I am interested in hearing your argument as to why Jay-z is a racist?

          24. If you scroll through the thread, you will see me explain why several times.

          25. It also does for white people of limited income. They are called grants. Its not just for people of color.

          26. Never said they were. Nice try though.

        3. Sorry son maybe you should have played sports it makes money for the college and they get scholarships full ride and must maintain a c average

  7. I got 99 problems, and this is one. (Had to do it :-P)

  8. D-bag…

    1. Why?

  9. Putting the S4 on Craigslist tonight. Hiring a dim witted celebrity is one thing. Hiring a racist is another

    1. i seem to be out of the loop, mind informing me about what he said or did that was racist?

  10. Jay-z Racist, since when?

    1. I’m wondering the same thing? I feel like this is some reverse psychology crap where everyone is calling the black guy racist.

      1. Well…anyone can be racist, lets get that clear. Doesn’t matter what color you are, a racist act is a racist act. But besides that, I trying to remember when he was being racist. I know about that rant during inauguration, but other that, he not really racist.

He consider his biggest rap competition a white rapper (Eminem) , and he’s on tour with JT(Justin Timberlake). Where’s the racism?

        1. So touring with a white person makes you non-racist? Awesome! I guess that’s what I need to do next time I tell all white people to vote for the next white president.

          Vote right, vote White!

          1. All your comments remind of twitter feeds from ignorant tweeters. But the context is how is he racist? Usually people who are racist against a group usually don’t associate themselves with said group.

Jay-Z is not really racist from knowing the artist and his contributions in entertainment.

          2. Not a single thing in your response was an actual response to what I said above. Would you like to try again and explain why someone isn’t racist when they ask others to vote based on skin color?

            I’ll be waiting.

          3. Don’t hold your breathe, cause seeing how u responsed to others, no matter what I say gonna change what you think.

          4. I see this response also doesn’t address the actual topic at hand.

          5. Don’t bother trying to argue with AmericanPatriot4. Just remember the old saying: “never argue with an idiot, they’ll drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.”

          6. True.

          7. I see you are going to cash in with arguing based on emotion and not logic. Still yet to see a single rebut to my statements and questions.

          8. Who asked someone to vote based on skin color? During the previous two elections I saw a lot of people saying that they wouldn’t vote for President Obama because of his skin color. I saw a lot of that. Didn’t see anyone who said they WOULD vote for him solely because of his skin color though. Nope However I know of many instances where people were denied the right to vote by so called American patriots because of their skin color. So much that an act had to be passed to guarantee that everyone has the right to vote.

          9. [Who asked someone to vote based on skin color?]

Many people, including Jay-Z. Thanks for asking.

[Didn’t see anyone who said they WOULD vote for him solely because of his skin color though]

HAHAHA! Ok then, the conversation ends here since you are so blind to the real world.

          10. So did all of the other races that voted for the president vote for him because his father is African? People of color have been voting Democrat for decades. They didn’t all of a sudden start voting Democrat when Obama stepped on the scene. Don’t insult me by inferring that people of color don’t vote based on issues and politics.

Dude, you are the one who is blind to the real world. I live in the very real, very racist America where people of color have been threatened, intimidated and killed because of the color of their skin by so called patriots. Your issue with a song? Really?

          11. [Don’t insult me by inferring that people of color don’t vote based on issues and politics.]

Never said that at ALL. Nice straw man argument.

[I live in the very real, very racist America where people of color have been threatened, intimidated and killed because of the color of their skin by so called patriots.]

So the actions of a group of people means that everyone even remotely related to them are also racist? Nice theory.

          12. [So the actions of a group of people means that everyone even remotely related to them are also racist? Nice theory.]

Haha. You’re contradicting yourself now pal. Your entire argument is based on that theory.

          13. It was YOU who said that. I was just pointing out the absurdity.

          14. I notice that you ignored the rest of the points in my post. I suppose you’ll claim that they are off topic.

I said I didn’t see or know of anyone who voted from President Obama because he is half African. Maybe you did, I myself did not.

You don’t know anything about my real world. You don’t know anything about my reality.

If you don’t believe that a man of African ancestry being elected President of THIS country considering the way minorities have been treated in this country for hundreds of years is a huge deal then you don’t live in the real world.

          15. Because you kept muttering the same non-sense over and over again.

[I said I didn’t see or know of anyone who voted from President Obama because he is half African. Maybe you did, I myself did not.]

Then you shoved your head in the sand during both elections.

[If you don’t believe that a man of African ancestry being elected President of THIS country considering the way minorities have been treated in this country for hundreds of years is a huge deal then you don’t live in the real world.]

Good. Then you can add my people to this list of perpetual victims since my family has irish ancestry. The irish were treated often worse than any other group out there. Glad we have that cleared up.

          16. No, I’ve never hid my head in the sand. I know of which I speak.

Face it, the man got elected twice. Deal with it.

[Good. Then you can add my people to this list of perpetual victims since my family has irish ancestry. The irish were treated often worse than any other group out there. Glad we have that cleared up]

I’m sorry I must have missed history class when they taught about the Irish Slaves.. Seriously though, I am aware of the horrible treatment of Iriish people in this country, However, they were not enslaved. It isn’t the same and you know it. Also I am positive that very American of Irish descent celebrated & rejoiced when JFK or any other President of Irish lineage was elected. Glad we got that cleared up.

          17. [Face it, the man got elected twice. Deal with it.]

That’s not the debate here… but thanks for trying.

[I am aware of the horrible treatment of Iriish people in this country, However, they were not enslaved.]

So it has to be in this nation to count? Nice.

[It isn’t the same and you know it.]

Oh, sure. Because being enslaved in Europe is much better than being enslaved in America.

[Also I am positive that very American of Irish descent celebrated & rejoiced when JFK or any other President of Irish lineage was elected. Glad we got that cleared up.]

Maybe the ignorants one did, but I don’t celebrate someone just because of their skin color or ethnicity. I will, however, celebrate someones good accomplishments regardless of their skin color, race, creed, etc.

          18. My family is of Irish ancestry as well. And yes, they were pleased as punch when JFK was elected. They are not ignorant. They know of the horrible treatment Irish people received and how they also were regarded as 2nd class citizens in America and by England. When you are told your whole life that you are worthless, that you are less than human by than those in the majority you damn well celebrate when one of you has a major achievement. it doesn’t mean you are racist, if means you are proud, happy, excited. Maybe even a little vindicated. You don’t celebrate it because of what they are. You celebrate the accomplishment. You celebrate it because they reached that pinnacle of success despite whatever preconceived notions people may have about them because of where they may come from or the color of their skin. If you can’t understand that, you never will.

          19. There is nothing wrong with celebrating because someone you like was elected in office. However, if you based your opinion ONLY on skin color, ethnicity, etc… you would be considered racist by every other standard. And that’s the bottom line.

I keep saying this over and over: Had it been a white man elected, and a country artist singing about how a white man is back in office, he would have a price on his head. And you know it.

          20. [I said I didn’t see or know of anyone who voted from President Obama because he is half African. Maybe you did, I myself did not.]

It was on the news enough for anyone with basic understanding to realize.

[If you don’t believe that a man of African ancestry being elected President of THIS country considering the way minorities have been treated in this country for hundreds of years is a huge deal then you don’t live in the real world.]

Gotta love how blacks are always a victim of whitey. ALWAYS a victim. There will never be a single damn day in which I am not personally blamed for the actions of a group several hundred years ago.

            rinse, repeat.

          21. You are muttering nonsense. You can ignore facts and history all you want. No one is blaming you for anything. You can try to dance around the facts. You can try to say to that black people are whining about being victims,. Whatever, I don’t care. The facts are the facts. History is history. You obviously will always ignore facts and try to deflect and downplay the atrocities black people endured and still endure. I’m sure you do love the fact that blacks have been the victim of whitey.

You try to insult everyone that has replied to you. Obviously I am not the only person who disagrees with you on this board. The fact is you are clown spewing nonsense which you try to pass off as fact. Up to this point I have resisted the urge to call you a clown because I hoped to have an intelligent dialogue with you, but I now realize that is impossible.

You have your opinion. I have facts. If you want to believe that every black person in America who voted only voted for Obama because he is half African, go right ahead and think that. If that is your justification for McCain losing the election and Romney losing the election, feel free to believe that. Here a fact for you, all of those black people would not have voted for McCain or Romney anyway.
            Good day.

          22. So if a jewish person talks about the holocaust, are they victims too? When you voted for the presidential candidates previously, did you vote for Romney and McCain because they were white? You sound like Glen Becks parrot….

          23. Those were extremely poor attempts at my character. Next time, maybe try an actual response to the topic.

          24. So if someone of color votes for the president, it’s because of race. When you vote for a candidate (that is your skin color), it’s not. That foolishness. One standard for you, then everyone else has to live up to your code of ethics? Please! Whatever man! You act like racism doesn’t exist, which means you’re either stupid or really stupid. How many people want to blame the president for everything? Where was the blame when George W Bush let 3500 americans die on 9/11? Or started a war based on lies and conjecture? You said you were a soldier, is it right for a man to ask people to upset their lives for a lie? You’re probably more mad about Benghazi than the fact that people were put in harm’s way by the previous administration, that the current president….By the way, you have no character.

You’re the victim, don’t believe then let me quote you:

There will never be a single damn day in which I am not personally blamed for the actions of a group several hundred years ago.

They must’ve castrated you. You sound like a bitch…Waaa!

          25. [So if someone of color votes for the president, it’s because of

Nice straw man argument! Thanks for trying to create a false argument for me.

[You act like racism doesn’t exist, which means you’re either stupid or really stupid.]

            What?! Are you drunk?

[How many people want to blame the president for everything? Where was the blame when George W Bush let 3500 americans die on 9/11?]

Bush didn’t “let people die”, we were attacked you moron. That’s extremely insulting to the lives lost that day.

[Or started a war based on lies and conjecture?]

First off, the president presented CONGRESS with the reasons to go for war AFTER every major investigative bodies in the WORLD said there was evidence of WMD’s in Iraq. Congress voted on it. Get your history straight.

[You said you were a soldier, is it right for a man to ask people to upset their lives for a lie?]

            What? More incoherent nonsense.

[You’re probably more mad about Benghazi than the fact that people were put in harm’s way by the previous administration]

Maybe because it has been proven that the administration outright lied several times about the Benghazi attacks? Just maybe?

[By the way, you have no character.]

            Nice Ad-hominem.

[They must’ve castrated you. You sound like a bitch…Waaa!]

lol, internet tough guy trying to talk junk. Pathetic.

          26. Bush did let people die. Warnings came from CSIS a Canadian intelligence agency, and MI6 a british intelligence agency, and others. The Bush neocon nuts knew they had an audience with blood thirsty idiots like yourself, and thus they let 9/11 happen. How many first responders are now dying from the carcinogenic materials from the twin tower debris? Estimates say, around 2500, and counting. If americans wanted to get the real perps on 9/11 they would have invaded Saudi Arabia. You “say” you were a serviceman.

The evidence presented to congress was from the Bush administration. So yeah, they lied to congress, check wikileaks, if you can read.

Here’s your lame logic. President Obama & his administration lied about Benghazi were unfortunately 4 people died. However, you’re not angry about a false pretense wars that has costed the lives of 5000 service men and women, and about 150-200k Iraqi and Afghan lives. That’s a problem to normal people, but a neo con sociopath like yourself, loves to “justify” the blight that was the Bush Administration. Or do you think that the smoking gun could become a mushroom cloud….PAYASO!

The only difference between the Obama administration and Bush administration is one group let lots of Americans get killed, the other ended an illegal war. One group is trying to clean up the mess from the other. You’re so mad at Jay-Z, president Obama, and the countless black people that you claim blame you for their lives. Well here’s my advice. Stop watching Bill O’Reilly and Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. All three guys love war, however they all made sure not to sign up to fight in one. Get out of the bottle you sound like you’ve climbed in, it only makes you more pathetic and self pitying. You don’t have character, and you’re not a patriot. real patriot love America always, wrinkles and warts. You seem to only love American when the president is white.

          27. [Bush did let people die. Warnings came from CSIS a Canadian intelligence agency, and MI6 a british intelligence agency, and others.]

In that case, Clinton is responsible for the whole thing because he let BinLaden go several times. See how ridiculous that sounds?!

[The Bush neocon nuts knew they had an audience with blood thirsty idiots like yourself, and thus they let 9/11 happen.]

And now I am being blamed to terrorist attacks! LOL!

[You “say” you were a serviceman.]

I actively serve the United States Marine Corps. Thanks for insulting that many times over, by the way.

[The evidence presented to congress was from the Bush administration. So yeah, they lied to congress, check wikileaks, if you can read.]

As I said, recorded history puts that information as being compiled from EVERY major intel source on the planet…. if you can read.

[Here’s your lame logic. President Obama & his administration lied about Benghazi were unfortunately 4 people died. However, you’re not angry about a false pretense wars that has costed the lives of 5000 service men and women, and about 150-200k Iraqi and Afghan lives.]

Why do you keep creating false arguments for me? You do realize that is a straw man argument, right? Do you know what that is?

[That’s a problem too normal people, but a neo con sociopath like yourself, loves to “justify” the blight that was the Bush Administration.]

I haven’t justified anything. And it seems very evident that you are a very disturbed individual to have such a personal attack on someone you do not know.

[The only difference between the Obama administration and Bush administration is one group let lots of Americans get killed, the other ended an illegal war.]

You are yet another brainwashed liberal. We are actually STILL fighting in Both Iraq and Afghanistan with STILL no actual official end time. And they WERE NOT illegal wars; congress voted to go to war. Thus legality.

Plus, your stupid little statistic about hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens dead needs little footnote: 99.999999999 percent of them were killed by their very own suicide bombers and terrorists.

[You’re so mad at Jay-Z, president Obama, and the countless black people that you claim blame you for their lives.]

Are you on drugs? Or is strawman arguments an artform for you?

[Well here’s my advice. Stop watching Bill O’Reilly and Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck.]

Where do you brainwashed even come up with random names in the middle of nowhere? When did I even remotely bring them into the picture? Seems to me you are naming your biggest threats to your idiotic ideals.

[Get out of the bottle you sound like you’ve climbed in, it only makes you more pathetic and self pitying. You don’t have character, and you’re not a patriot.]

Glad to know that’s how you view our nation’s servicemen and women. You don’t even know me; at all. Yet you characterize me with many facets. Nice.

[You seem to only love American when the president is white.]

You are a VERY misguided person, and I hope divine intervention will move you from such a hateful path.

          28. [In that case, Clinton is responsible for the whole thing because he
let Bin Laden go several times. ]

Then the real culprit is Ronald Reagan. He and the idiot Neo-cons you worship, created Bin Laden. They trained him in Virginia to be a pest to Afghanistan’s neighbors…Russia. Don’t blame Clinton, blame Reagan, who referred to Bin Laden as a freedom fighter.

[And now I am being blamed to terrorist attacks!] More victimhood from Racistpatriot4!

[Why do you keep creating false arguments for me? You do realize that is a straw man argument, right? Do you know what that is?]

Translation: If I keep saying strawman argument in every post, I’ll sound smart! You don’t. You sound nauseatingly repetitive.

[I haven’t justified anything. And it seems very evident that you are a very disturbed individual to have such a personal attack on someone you do not know.]

You say the war was voted on by Congress, who was given false info provided by The Bush Administration. If you feel the war is globally legal, then the US should sign the Geneva convention Act. We see how long Dubya and Cheney could stay out of custody outside of American soil. Plus, I’m glad I don’t know you, you sound like an idiot. Plus, I’m probably the bane of your existence..I’m a black male. You probably still observe Jim Crow and think me, and others like me are 2/3 of a human.

[Are you on drugs? Or is strawman arguments an artform for you?]

Oh look, Racistpatriot4 said strawman again. The college prep book should have taught you more terms than that.

[Glad to know that’s how you view our nation’s servicemen and women. You don’t even know me; at all. Yet you characterize me with many facets. Nice.]

I don’t have respect for you. At all. So that part is true. You’re a coward. You hate Jay-Z and the president based on the color of their skin, and not the content of their character. You should just admit that, and move on.

[You are a VERY misguided person, and I hope divine intervention will move you from such a hateful path.]

Pretty personal attack for someone you don’t know? Or does that argument only work for you? I hate racism, you I pity. You seem like a loser.

          29. [Then the real culprit is Ronald Reagan. He and the idiot Neo-cons you worship]

LOL! where do you get such fantasy?!

[Translation: If I keep saying strawman argument in every post, I’ll sound smart! You don’t. You sound nauseatingly repetitive.]

You mean EXACTLY like this straw man: “Then the real culprit is Ronald Reagan. He and the idiot Neo-cons you worship”

[You say the war was voted on by Congress, who was given false info provided by The Bush Administration.]

It seems you are too stupid to understand that EVERY MAJOR INTEL GROUP CONCLUDED THE SAME THINGS.

[If you feel the war is globally legal, then the US should sign the Geneva convention Act.]

Do you know anything about foreign policy? I’d say absolutely not if you knew what that was and what it would mean.

[Plus, I’m glad I don’t know you, you sound like an idiot. ]

            More ad-hominems and trolling.

[Plus, I’m probably the bane of your existence..I’m a black male. You probably still observe Jim Crow and think me, and others like me are 2/3 of a human.]

Oh wow, another personal attack; but wait! Also another straw man argument! LOL, does it ever end?

[Oh look, Racistpatriot4 said strawman again.

            Another ad-hominem.

[I don’t have respect for you. At all. So that part is true. You’re a coward.]

            And….another ad-hominem.

[You hate Jay-Z and the president based on the color of their skin, and not the content of their character.]

I don’t hate Jay-Z, I just think he is a garbage peddling fool and degenerate. But nice straw man argument! Lost count at this point.

[You should just admit that, and move on.]

I don’t hate people for their skin color… so no.

[Pretty personal attack for someone you don’t know? Or does that argument only work for you?]

That judgement was made from all of the absolutely INSANE things you have accused and said about me; so yeah.

            [You seem like a loser.]

Glad to see you had to get one last personal punch in. It is YOU who is the internet tough guy coward.

          30. Your an dumb arse

          31. Nice rebuttal. You think long about that response?

          32. At least I am saying truthful things you on the other hand keep lying about Jay Z being racist when he clearly isn’t he supports the president I personally hate the president but don’t lie

          33. I have proven my case over and over again.

          34. Not really you use one rap song to say he’s racist when he was clearly celebrating Obama winning your very dim if you can’t get that.

          35. He was celebrating that a person of a specific skin color was elected.

Had that been a white man, you would be screaming racism.

          36. Your? The irony of calling someone else ignorant.

    2. since Fox News told them he was.

  11. Nobody gives a fack….

I like how this article is written with words and phrases like “dollar signs” “zeroes” “deal like this goes down”

    Sick of hearing that crap…

    1. Sorry that this black man that wrote the article is using slang atm and it’s offending you. I do wonder why though.

    2. I was under the impression this is how he always wrote.

    3. Then go to another site.

  12. boy it sure seems like a lot of ignorance and hate in here.

    1. Dunno you but welcome to the Internet where some insecure white males usually come to spew bs. Jayz is racist according to them.

      1. I see. So sad. Oh well.

      2. LOL…this reminds me of many comment feeds on CNN…where anything that goes wrong in the world turns to a hate fest on Obama…Moore, OK Tornado? Blame on Obama….LAPD Cop goes rogue? Blame Obama. Economy Tanks, Blame Obama…..Samsung inks deal with Jay-Z? Lets thrown in Obama there as well………now i mention it because its hilarious and ppls comments are comedy gold, and when you throw in a few ppl who want to somehow tie-in religion, the ignoramus fest goes on high alert and full on attack mode. Just saying its funny

        1. hmm I blame it all on the ATM’s. And the Japanese earthquake.

  13. It’s not easy to attract Jay-Z’s attention? Sure it is, throw $20million dollars at him.

    1. Jay-Z is worth between 500 and 800 million dollars. 20 million is nothing to him.

  14. wish i got 20 million dollars just for having a ridiculous name and no talent

    -Miles Short

    1. biggest selling rap artist EVAR! but yea no talent. More number 1 selling albums than The Beatles, Elvis, and The Rolling Stones. yea no talent right?

  15. Dang it’s funny how Jay-Z gets recognized as a racist, haha, I’m from south so I won’t dare call any minority racist comming from where I’m from, i don’t like Sammy and I dont agree with a man who calls himself a God, but like I said, I won’t look down on any man of color nor of any other ethnicity as a racist comming from where I’m from, because we all know where racism began in this country and what group of people has it more than any other

    1. He calls himself GodMC but I get what you’re saying and agree. People just showing true colors online as usual.

      1. Glad somebody agree but for the record, it’s 2013 I wish racism didn’t exist with any group of people, but I guess it’s one of those things that’s never going away

        1. I wish the same thing honestly. But as long as there’s people to keep teaching it and living by it… It’ll never die.

  16. I ain’t selling my S4 because of this Douche. Samsung should make him pay 20 million.

  17. You guys are a trip… Jayz is racist because he promoted Barack Obama with my president is black and you’re ditching Samsung? Lol. Have fun.

    1. Yes. Promoting someone based on the color of their skin is racist. New concept, I know…. but try to keep up.

      1. It was a song and no where did he say go vote for him because he’s black. It was celebrating because unlike you guys.. This was something new for us. Like that new concept you’re trying to get me to see. Honestly I doubt you could understand what I mean lol.

        1. Yes. Let’s all celebrate an achievement… but let’s only focus on their skin color… not their actual qualifications. Great idea!

          1. As I said. You wouldn’t understand. I won’t try explaining it to you anymore.

          2. You can’t explain it because it goes beyond explanation as to why blacks would call whites racist, then vote someone in office ONLY because of the color of their skin.

            The blatant hypocrisy is astounding.

          3. Okay because you said something silly. This is my last response. He wasn’t voted in just became he was black. If that was the case Herman Caine would be in. He isn’t. And white people are “racist” for other reasons. The song is celebratory. You wouldn’t understand because to be quite frank, you’re white. Take that as you feel. You couldn’t possibly understand how It feels for your kids to see a black man running the country. (even though I believe presidents are figure heads.)

          4. No, Herman Cain was falsely accused by the left of being a sexual predator because we was an absolute threat to Obama. A black true conservative would have mopped the floor with him.

[And white people are “racist” for other reasons.]

ROFL! There you go folks, all white people are racist.

[ The song is celebratory. You wouldn’t understand because to be quite frank, you’re white.]

LOL, and there we have another gem. I am ignorant and can’t comprehend something because of my skin color. Awesome sauce!

[Take that as you feel. You couldn’t possibly understand how It feels for your kids to see a black man running the country.]

Yet again, the fact that you and JayZ have something in common: Making sure that everyone focuses only on skin color.

          5. Go back and forth with yourself American Patriot. The Same way I don’t understand what it’s like to have “white privilege”, you’ll never understand “black struggle”. Last response. *shrug*

          6. AHAHAHA! “white privilege” and “black struggle”. That seriously cracks me up. You are so incredibly ignorant.

          7. Is he? Or have you never heard of institutional racism? Blacks and whites smoke pot at identical rates… there’s less black people in this country than there are whites… yet they get arrested for marijuana violations 5 times more than whites. Then there’s the economic disparities, occupational disparities, educational disparities… yeah, there’s no priviledge or struggles in this country. It’s all fabricated, because you said so.

          8. [there’s less black people in this country than there are whites… yet they get arrested for marijuana violations 5 times more than whites.]

That proves absolutely nothing of the sort. All that could mean is that whites are more skilled at not getting caught than blacks.

[Then there’s the economic disparities, occupational disparities, educational disparities… yeah, there’s no priviledge or struggles in this country.]

If you don’t succeed in this nation, it is your own damn fault. I’m so sick of people like you who try and claim that the color of your skin makes you incapable of bettering yourself.

[It’s all fabricated, because you said so.]

Talking to you is like talking to a lamp post.

          9. What you just said, is racist *and* ignorant. Go to an inner-city school and see how well funded they are to cultivate success. You are such an over-priviledged whiner with an entitlement problem that you are blind to what the real world actually looks like. There’s a reason why the top schools in the nation are the highest-funded ones.

          10. Sorry, but poverty strikes more than just the black kids.

I’m so glad you never actually rebutted ANY one of my comments. Not a single one. Just call me racist and move on like nothing happened.

          11. Actually I did rebuff everything you wrote, racist. You just are blinded by your racism to accept that fact.

          12. LOL, is your mind stuck on racism? Is that seriously all you can say?

          13. Look how mad you are! You must really be ashamed of being a racist.

          14. Yep. More trolling.

          15. Yup. You’re a racist.

          16. Uuh, there were white people that voted for Obama too. It wasn’t blacks that put him in office, it was the public!

          17. I never said that. Nice straw man argument.

          18. in an enormous landslide… twice.

      2. All you heard in the song was ” My President is Black” and ran with it. Not once did he say go vote for Obama because he is black nor did he say he was voting for Obama because he was Black. He just stated that he was Black. It was a song that was pretty much saying that this country has progressed to a point that we now have a Black president.

        1. [Not once did he say go vote for Obama because he is black nor did he say he was voting for Obama because he was Black]

LOL! YES HE ABSOLUTELY DID SAY THAT! I remember clear as day during the campaigning!

[pretty much saying that this country has progressed to a point that we now have a Black president.]

No he wasn’t. He was parading around like a peacock because someone with dark skin won an election. That is racist. End of story.

Next time the elections roll around, I’m going to have a country singer write and sing a song about a white man being back in charge. See how that goes over.

          1. You are very funny! To me it seems that you have been called a racist a few times in your life and you didnt have a clue why! So now in your head anything that is said about color = racism. I will be praying for you and your descendants.

          2. When in doubt and losing an argument, just call the other person a racist and claim victory.

            Check.

          3. Its clear to see that you read what you want to read and hear what you want to hear! You have not won the argument because you have failed to prove that Jay-Z song said anything racist! If I stated that my neighbor is Black and I lived in an all White neighborhood does that make me a racist? NO it doesn’t! I stated a fact! If I said my Captain is Asian and got Happy that he was my Captain does that make me a racist? NO it doesn’t! Now if someone was upset that I was happy to have a Black neighbor or an Asian Captain I would think that the upset person might be racist!

Now go re-read my comment, I didn’t call you a racist I said that it seems that you have been called a racist!

          4. [You have not won the argument because you have failed to prove that Jay-Z song said anything racist!]

Jay-Z singing that “my president is black” is racist.

Like I said… let a country artist sing a song about the next “white” president and see what happens.

[ If I stated that my neighbor is Black and I lived in an all White neighborhood does that make me a racist? NO it doesn’t!]

No, that’s just factual statements. What Jay-Z was doing was gloating that the candidate that won a public office had black skin. I thought we were past the point of celebrating people just because of their skin color? Why not talk about his achievements (or lack thereof)?

How about rap about ANYTHING other than stereotypical skin color?

      3. i am pretty sure that “my president is black” is a Young Jeezy song and Jay-Z was oonly featured on the remix… After Obama won the election so it wasn’t really promoting but clearly showing support. No one in the song was scream “vote for obama motha fu*ka” just basically stating the obvious. and Patriot if you do not listen to rap dont try to use it to prove a point because someone that does listen to rap ie. me will be there to correct. i dont even like that damn song lol

        1. Jay-Z sang it. Does it matter? Both of them are racist.

[and Patriot if you do not listen to rap dont try to use it to prove a point because someone that does listen to rap ie. me will be there to correct]

I am perfectly capable of reading lyrics and calling people out for their blatant racism. Thanks though. I don’t need an interpreter.

          1. Who wanted to be your interpreter? and if you can read lyrics then post the part of the song in which jay-z says ” i voted for obama because he was black” or “you should vote for obama because he is black” i see you didnt touch on my comment of the song was made after the election was already decided and the song is just stating the obvious. would it had made you feel better if the song wass called “my president is black… but hes also white too.”? probably not because it would be black before the white right? lol funny

          2. [Who wanted to be your interpreter?]

Allow me to quote you: “and Patriot if you do not listen to rap dont try to use it to prove a point because someone that does listen to rap ie. me will be there to correct.”

Why do you keep creating false arguments for me? You understand that is called a strawman argument right?

The FACT of the matter is that Jay-Z is gloating because a “black” man won the office of the presidency. ANY other person doing that would be called racist if the president was white.

          3. Oh no it can’t be because it’s the first black president EVER!!! No that can’t be it. They can’t celebrate… it has to be racism. Still waiting on those quotes from Jay-Z in which he says he voted for Obama because he is black. I see from your other post that you know how to use the internet so why are you dodging my requests and prove Jay-Z to be the racist you claim him to be.

          4. I have already posted the quote straight from his mouth. Look for them, they are in bold.

          5. I am on disqus right now looking at your activity and i don’t see any quotes that you have posted of Jay-Z saying that he voted for anyone because they were black. Humor me and post them in our conversation. you can do it for the NEW black panthers video so why not do it to back up your claims on jay-z being racist.

      4. Oh, so the civil rights people weren’t racist because they were correcting social injustice. So then, if they celebrated after making some gain in that area, then that would be racist, right? ‘Cause i’ m pretty sure that’s all Jay-Z was doing with his “President is Black” or whatever the heck song you guys are mentioning. Pretty sure he was celebrating the breaking of a barrier to what HE saw as social injustice. Of course, I’ve never heard the song, so no idea what he says in it. I bet you like it a lot better if he just sticks to talking about bi$#*es and h0s and money, right?

        1. [Oh, so the civil rights people weren’t racist because they were correcting social injustice. So then, if they celebrated after making some gain in that area, then that would be racist, right?]

          Wow, what an ignorant retort.

[Cause i’m pretty sure that’s all Jay-Z was doing with his “President is Black” or whatever the heck song you guys are mentioning.]

So why has he never rapped about a president being white?

[I bet you like it a lot better if he just sticks to talking about bi$#*es and h0s and money, right?]

Yes, Jay-Z is a typical garbage rap peddler.

          1. You’re pretty good at name calling; equally poor at actually explaining yourself. But hey, why actually make an argument when you can just call someone a name? I guess your position is that Jay-Z is racist because he’s proud his country was the first Western nation to elect a black president. That is the only rational you have implied(since you haven’t actually given even one example). But I’m sure you’ll convince people your right by simply calling them ignorant when they allude to the flaws in the only argument you have offered. Or you could try to prove your point? I doubt you have the ability.

          2. [I guess your position is that Jay-Z is racist because he’s proud his country was the first Western nation to elect a black president.]

LOL, if you think the U.S. is the first to elect a half black half white leader, then you really don’t know much about the world.

[That is the only rational you have implied(since you haven’t actually given even one example)]

The prime exaple I keep giving (which you obviously refuse to acknowledge) is that he is gloating and celebrating a skin color. And ONLY his skin color. The rap song didn’t seem to mention anything else… odd.

Let’s celebrate about a white person getting elected next time. Want to see how well that one goes over.

    2. I like Jay Z as an artist but truth is the guy is mixed I hate how they say hes black Herman Cain is black not BHO

      1. That’s all pov. In America when It comes to mixed people you are stuck with either the one drop rule or whichever you identity with. BO says he identifies himself as a black man.

        1. Non sense gov. forms has choice for mixed my cousin who is mixed when asked says mixed

          1. Okay. Regardless of what the forms say. He identifies himself as black. My opinion nor yours changes that.

          2. lying that’s the truthe nothing changes that see what i did there ?

          3. Man I can’t begin to express how uninterested I am with this back and forth. Deuces buddy.

          4. Should have never replied

  18. HMMM….something is telling me a deal similar to Beats by Dre sound processing tech….could be wrong because beats by dre was worth 10 times more then this deal, with HTC. I think $350mil

    1. I feel it will be like that

    2. This won’t be anything as big as that. Jayz is just going to be something to grab the black communities attention. Dre actually did something to deserve the money. Don’t get me wrong, I like some of Jayz music but he’s just going to be used for advertising.

      1. thats whats making me say i could be wrong….the advertising this man could do, could net samsung another several million in handsets sold.

        1. You know what.. You’re right lol.

      2. ie his skull candy roc nation aviator headphones… i own a pair but no one knows what the hell they are lol. i like the design of the aviators but the beats have more recogition.

    3. HTC bought 50% of an entire company for 350 mil… sold 25% back for 150 mil. This is something with an individual directly.

  19. “Chief Creative Director” hahaha

    1. Like swiss beats and will.I.Am lol. Just a title to toss him.

      1. Imagine if you were famous and rich? People would literally give you money because you were famous and rich, to become more famous and rich. It’s crazy. #murica

        1. He’s whats hot right now, and easily accessible with money. It like when promoters pay celebrities to show up in a club and drink a certain brand just for the attention.

On another note, Jay-Z is a overrated rapper.

        2. Lol seems like once you hit a certain plateau Money trees grow man. I wish!

  20. I got 99 problems, but not my HTC One.

    :P

    1. Crowd control

    2. LMFAO really dude

    3. Bit on the nose but brilliant at the same time.

    4. Boooo this man!!!! :-D

    5. Chris you STOOPID :p

    6. And if you havin gig problems I feel bad for you Sung, I got 99 problems, but not my HTC One

  21. Stop deleting my comments that responding to ignorance Phandroid mods. Unless you’re deleting theirs too.

    1. Oh, now I remember! You are that idiot that tried to convince everyone that an android app that takes your picture and adds a funny little hat and white beard is somehow “racist”.

      1. Lol that’s what people do when they can’t make a point. Start insulting. *bow* enjoy that.

        1. Calling it like I see it.

  22. I’m no racist, but truth be told, if you live in the United States, YOUR president is black!

    1. truth.

    2. Well said. The song was a celebration not a declaration.

      1. Exactly!

        1. At least a handful of us have some intelligence.

    3. I’d rather have jay z for president as he’s more qualified than the current occupant of the WH. Nothing to do with race. While jay z’s talent may be open for debate, at least he is an entrepreneur who understands that is a bad idea to demonize the successful.

  23. WOW, LOVE TO SEE THE COMMENTS WHEN IT TALKS ABOUT CELEBRITIES, AND HOW RACE AND ETHNICITY COME INTO PLAY ON WEBSITE ABOUT ANDROID PHONES!!!!!

    1. I agree. so sad for a few.

    2. The relevance of racist stems from the fact that Samsung is promoting a blatant racist garbage rap “artist”.

      1. What has he said/done that was racist? He has worked with several artists of all colors/races.

        1. So, having co-workers of different skin color absolves you from all wrongdoing? Good to know.

        2. He’s a moron that can’t read the difference between “Young Jeezy” and “Jay-Z”

          1. Jeezy wrote it, Jay-Z sang it. They are both idiots and racist for doing it. Doesn’t matter.

You just resort to personal attacks because you have nothing intelligent to add.

          2. wtf did Jay-Z say that was racist? Kill whitey?

          3. GASP!!!!!!

          4. Jay-Z sang it… like you’ve never sang a song while listening to the radio. Neither are racist for doing it, either. Because there’s absolutely nothing racist in it. Only people that want to hide their own racism would think that, so they could say passive-aggressive racist statements in every other post they write.

          5. You keeping with the “call the other person a racist” strategy? I have already explained how endorsing someone based on skin color is racism.

          6. He never endorsed anyone because they were black, numbskull. I don’t understand why you keep bringing this up, you’ve been proven wrong multiple times. Your only interest is in having the last word and in making veiled racist statements, racistpatriot.

          7. [He never endorsed anyone because they were black, numbskull.]

Quoted from the man himself “I support Barack because I gotta respect that sort of vision. I gotta respect a man who is the first black President ever,” he said. “To have that sort of vision and dream, I have to support that.”

Does it get any more clear? No? Still going to keep calling me a racist instead of participating in the actual conversation?

          8. This has already been explained to you ad nauseum, racist. Respecting the person that has become the first black president is not racist. It’s celebratory and monumental *to everyone in the country*. To call it racist *is racist* because you have a racist mind to think of it otherwise and clearly support institutional racism. So instead of responding, go spend some time looking into yourself on why you’re a racist.

          9. LOL, troll on.

          10. LOL, racist.

          11. Don’t worry partner. This cat is a clown. He was trying to argue that this “make me asian” app wasn’t racist. This guy, hates everything that he isn’t. I guess AmericanPatriot4 voted for the white presidents cause of their skin color too.

      2. Usually, someone who has to post anonymously with a name like “AmericanPatriot4” is the exact opposite of a patriot.

        1. Nice accusation there. Have any relevant arguments to make?

      3. how is he a blatant racist. i listen to his work and not once do i hear fu*k white people or any other race. you probably think the black panthers were racists too. i would say jay-z’s earlier work was more sexist than racist

        1. Don…Please don’t feed the trolls :)

          1. Oh im sorry playboy didnt see the sign lol… with the way patriot is ranting on looks like he needs to be in some kind of exhibit. :-)

        2. ROFL, did you just say that the black panthers are not a racist organization?

          I give up.

          1. Black panthers were/are anti-oppression not anti-white. IT’S EDUCATION DAY lol… maybe spend time educating yourself on some things that really matter than disecting rap lyrics so you can b*tch and moan.

          2. [Black panthers were/are anti-oppression not anti-white.]

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4zbwWMqTS4

            Whoops.

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qX4dcvIYk9A

Whoops again! I can do this all day.

          3. Those are the NEW Black Panthers. Nice try though. I speak of the militant men of Huey Newton from the civil rights movement. But yea those “NEW” mother fuckers are racist. It’s a shame that they are taking the black panther name and cause and defaming it. This round we both were right and we both were wrong. You didn’t know which BPP I was talking about.

          4. Yes, new black panther party.

          5. Yes… thank you. the group in which you posted a video link to was of the New Black Panther Party. i was talking about the Black Panther Party. You know founded in Oakland, CA in 1966, Huey Newton and Bobby Seale. i could mentor you on the matter if you like. i can’t be mad at you for being misinformed or you just not knowing but i would rather die a million deaths than to let you continue being ignorant so i must educate you.

  24. Didnt know we had so many TeaParty phandroids here lmao

    1. You’d be surprised lol.

    2. What does the Tea Party have to do with this article?

      1. about as much as a song written by Young Jeezy, toolbox.

        1. Again, you have zero real substance to the argument so you just name-call. Perhaps you need more time to learn how to speak like an adult when in public.

          1. OK, racistpatriot. Let me know when you get a real job and aren’t living off of my hard work, hypocrite.

          2. Glad to know you feel that way about military servicemen.

          3. Just about unemployed racists, like yourself. It’s ok to be in denial about being a racist. Just know after this, that you are a racist… you can seek help for it. You can also get an education, that would partially fix the ignorance part. Leaving the county you were born in for the first time in your life would also help a little. Not watching Faux News or reading garbage on the internet from Breitbart or Beck would help a dummy like you a ton. But most of all, just shutting up while you’re behind would be your best bet. Everyone knows you’re a racist. Get over it.

          4. [Just about unemployed racists, like yourself.]

I am exploited thanks. It’s pretty obvious that you are a childish troll the way you can only retort with calling someone a racist.

[Not watching Faux News or reading garbage on the internet from Breitbart or Beck would help a dummy like you a ton.]

LOL! How do you even jump to such wild conclusions?! You are truly a liberal drone at it’s best huh?

          5. You’re a racist, mindless fool that just proved you watch Faux News by calling me a liberal. Go get an education. Come back after and try again.

          6. I called you a liberal because that’s all I see after their brainwashing is complete. Looks like your only argument is to call someone racist. That is truly pathetic.

            Keep up the trolling.

          7. Keep on making veiled racist statements, racistpatriot. You’re an ugly american.

          8. People with your views and attitude is 1 of the reasons I got out of the Military!

          9. [People with your views and attitude is 1 of the reasons I got out of the Military!]

Well, it’s evident that you joined for all the wrong reasons.

      2. I wasnt referring to the article :P

        1. Exactly. Which is why I pointed out that it was off topic.

          1. He was talking about the people like you that are making this whole thing about race? Do you even understand what racism is? Stating “My President is Black” isn’t racist, its FACT.

          2. Endorsing someone because of the color of their skin is racist.

  25. This is actually very smart on both parties. Jay Z is trying to secure new clients with his new sports agency and I bet what’s going to attract big name sports stars to his company is the fact he can secure big endorsements.
And Samsung knows he’s gonna have these big name clients and they will appear in adds in the next few years.
Is all about the Greenbacks these days…..!

    1. Although he is trying to get out of the Brooklyn Nets thing as of May.

  26. DDroid45
Racism didn’t start in the south. You can follow history back before the US was founded and find plenty of examples of it.
It goes back further than the supposed birth of Jesus.
You can’t blame everything on white people in America, and that’s coming from someone that more Cherokee Indian than white man.
And it wasn’t white Americans that brought slavery to this nation, it was Europeans and middle eastern nations that did, it was here in America that hundreds of thousands of white men have their lives to stop it though.
Just a little history lesson for ya :-)

    1. Who do you think accepted money for the black slaves that were brought to the north atlantic? That’s right. The black africans.

      1. I thought we were talking about American slavery? That’s the last refuge of a scoundrel; American so-called patriots deny the history of racism in America by using that phony argument “but racism is really black people’s fault. It’s not white people’s fault; they bought slaves from black Africans”. This conveniently ignores the hundreds of thousands of slaves kidnapped from their homelands.

        1. The vast majority of slaves we outright sold to european slavers. The largest buyers were in the America’s. I said said “but racism is really black people’s fault”.

          No. It was everyone’s fault.

    2. He said that in America it started in the south and by the time when stuff got bad right before and after the Civil War it was Americans in the south that displayed most of the racism in this country. Plus he said nothing about Slavery, but since you brought it up how many black men, women and children lost their lives just for wanting to be treated like a human?

  27. I can’t believe all the hate in here. I’m going to quote Jay Z real quick, “Do you even listen to rap music? or do you just skim through it?”

Jay Z is a legend in rap music, if you don’t like rap music. Ok, keep scrolling. Don’t hate this guy because you hate rap music. Calling him a racist? What has he don’t thats racist? He’s worked with Eminem, J. Lo, Fat Joe as well as many other non-black artists.

    1. Working with someone of a different skin color doesn’t make you a non-racist.

Promoting someone for the office of president based on the color of their skin does.

      1. I just fail to see what he has done that is so racist. Please fill me in.

        1. How about read all of the comments below. I have taken the time to explain it once already.

      2. Guess all those civil rights activists were a bunch of no-good racists. EVERYTHING they did was to promote blacks(and other underrepresented minorities).

        1. Wrong. Everything they did was to correct a social injustice. There (most of them) were not promoting their race/skin color over others.

      3. he didnt promote anything… show me where jay-z said vote for obama because he is black. show me a line from the song stating that please. as another user stated he was a celebration song. and as i stated earlier it came out after the election was over and obama won. wouldnt it be stupid to PROMOTE someone and they already won?

    2. I like rap but still strongly dislike Jay Z and his music.

      1. Are you a new rap fan? New rap is junk. I don’t listen ot much of what has been released in the last couple years.

        1. unfortunately, you have to go underground to hear good stuff.

        2. I don’t listen to new rap. Give me some Notorious BIG or Tupac or NAS, but please don’t assault my ears with that Jay Z garbage. He does new rap by the way…

  28. @idongacha, according to recent reports, obama shouldn’t have even qualified to run for office. This due to hundreds of forged signatures that are needed to run for office.
I’m not saying he had anything to do with it, but others that have had it happened have stepped down from their elected positions.
I’m not even suggesting that he should step down, I’m just stating the facts.

    1. Uh, yeah, you just suggested it.

    2. Watching Faux News again or reading Breitbart, I see. lol

  29. @blest,
That’s not actually the definition of racism, it’s actually the belief that you are better than someone else because they are different than you are.

  30. This a very interesting development indeed. Like you said it’s not easy to attract J’s attention so whatever happens has to be BIG.

  31. I prefer Snoop Lion.

  32. What about Obama giving Jay z special privileges to visit Cuba. There are plenty of other islands that aren’t run by a communist regime that they could have visited.
I could care less that he is black, I care more about how he is trying to destroy this country.

    1. how about you can visit Cuba too, any time, any day? You don’t need special permission, you don’t need the press pass, humanitarian pass, or celebrity pass. You just go with your US passport, and enter the country… it isn’t difficult, nor is it illegal.

      1. It is illegal for a US citizen to spend money in Cuba because of the embargo, and any visit lasting more than one day is considered by the US govt prima facie proof you spent money there. Any visit other than a quick 1 day jaunt requires a special license from the Treasury Dept. OFAC. The license grants you permission to spend money in Cuba.

        1. No. Really it isn’t. Here, let me explain to you how this works. Exchange your currency for any other currency on the planet. Fly out of any other country on the planet. They don’t stamp passports in Cuba. Being a celebrity, well, he might get noticed and run into an issue. Us peasants will never have an issue.

          1. Actually yes it IS illegal. Even when traveling from a third country. http://wikitravel.org/en/Americans_in_Cuba

          2. Actually. No. It really isn’t. There’s no way to enforce it, thus nullifying it. Protip: I have been there, and there’s plenty of Americans there at any given time.

          3. To say that there is no way to enforce it and to say it isn’t illegal are two totally different things. I have been there too, but thanks for the “Protip”

          4. OK. It’s illegal to have “other” types of sex too. But is it enforced? No. Because there’s no way to enforce it. Authorities need to enforce a law or it is nullified. A jury can also nullify a law. It’s all well within their rights.

          5. It actually has been enforced. To say it is not illegal and has no risk is incorrect and irresponsible. You can be as condescending as you want but you’re wrong.

          6. Many of those countries have US pre-customs check points. Don’t get caught.

  33. Thats 20 mill flushed down the toilet. Who gives a shizz about JayZ.

  34. Ya, looks like it’s time to ditch Samsung for me. Hurry up with the X-Phone Moto, I want you to take my money

  35. Samsung is not messing around. Their marketing during the NBA playoffs has been relentless. LeBron James and Jay Z are some huge names in entertainment. Made sense to have a huge athlete like LeBron endorsing the galaxy note but I found i funny that he would still be pictured using an iPhone. Thing looks like a bite sized snicker bar in his huge hands.

  36. Who cares???

  37. SO MANY LOSERS’ IN THE U.S.A , Did I forget to mention (your president is black.) Suckers!

  38. It’s part of his strategy for illuminati control

    1. knew someone was gonna go there lol

  39. Oh I hope this isn’t some new Beats thing like Jams or something…

  40. They just have money to dish out I guess.

  41. AmericanPatriot4 ignorance? AmericanPatriot4 butt hurt? AmericanPatriot4 telling everyone else to prove he/she is wrong, without arguing their own point first or giving any facts?
I expect my ringtones and notifications will all come from Jay-Z albums now.

    1. Nice. Next time you want to respond directly to one of my comments for a rebuttal, you let me know.

      1. Your stance appears to be that Jay-Z is racists. What comments have you made to support this claim? So far their is nothing to rebut.

        1. “I support Barack because I gotta respect that sort of vision.”

          Respecting someones vision is racist?

I gotta respect a man who is the first black President ever,”

He said he respects someone for doing something and being the first, not because he is black, but because he broke a previous stereotype of old white guys as presidents. This should inspire anyone who did not fit the previous mold of who can become president.

“To have that sort of vision and dream, I have to support that.”

Not seeing hate based on race here either.

          1. Bottom line is that he supports the president because of the color of his skin. That IS the very definition of racism.

Had it been a white president, and someone endorsing him because he is is white, you would be screaming racism. You just don’t get it, and you probably never will.

          2. That is not the definition of racism. Being supportive for any reason is not racist.

            Noun
The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as…
Not apparent in the lyrics of the song.
Prejudice or discrimination directed against someone of a different race based on such a belief.
Seems to be the opposite of what you are trying to propagate.

Like I am trying to say, if somebody supported a white president, when he was the first white president in our history, nobody would call that person racist (except maybe you). That is respecting someone who is inspiring others that did not meet the previous mold and is inspirational.

Will I ever get why you want to call Jay Z racist? No, probably not. Will you ever come up with plausible argument for Jay Z being racist? Probably not.

          3. In this country there was a belief that people of a certain race did not posses the abilities to be president. (Racism =The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as…)
Jay Z is supporting the president because he is Black, and President Obama proved that the belief that blacks are not lacking in the characteristics or abilities, specific to his race, that are needed to be president.
            You get it?

          4. That is not a valid excuse for endorsing someone to a public position just because of their skin color or culture.

You should be voting someone in office due to their actual real world qualifications. Having black skin is not a valid qualification for the office of president; sorry. You don’t get it… you never will.

Unless of course next time, it’s a country artist singing about a white man being back in charge. Than your blood will boil. Mark my words.

          5. Your argument. Jay-Z is racist because of the song My President is Black. No where in the song does Jay Z say he voted for President Obama. Please qualify your statement.

“That is not a valid excuse for endorsing someone to a public position just because of their skin color or culture.”
            Nobody said it was.

“You should be voting someone in office due to their actual real world qualifications. Having black skin is not a valid qualification for the office of president.”

Totally agree. Did either me or Jay Z do that? No. Did either me or Jay Z say that? No.

“Unless of course next time, it’s a country artist singing about a white man being back in charge.”
You can see the future? You know how I would feel? That is no way to debate. Accusing what you think someone else would do. Emotion without logic.
Actually, there are lots of songs about Rich White Men running the country. They are mostly negative though. Not relavant to your argument though, which you have yet to back up.

Once Obama became president was it worth celebrating? Yes. Like Jay Z and Y. Jeezy said “My president is black in fact he’s half white so even a in racist mind he’s half right…Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther could walk. Martin Luther walked so Barack Obama could run.”
It is a historical first worth celebrating, and diversity in government and our country is good. I don’t think you are arguing against that, but you are suggesting you know what Jay Z thinks and that seems quite different than what Jay Z sang.

          6. [No where in the song does Jay Z say he voted for President Obama. Please qualify your statement.

Not only does the sound account for his reason, but I have already quoted him numerous times in this comment section where he made a statement about voting for him because he is black (the black half of him, anyway).

[Totally agree. Did either me or Jay Z do that?]

            He absolutely did.

[You can see the future? You know how I would feel? That is no way to debate. Accusing what you think someone else would do. Emotion without logic.]

Using the same medicine I have been fed here.

[Once Obama became president was it worth celebrating? Yes. Like Jay Z and Y. Jeezy said “My president is black in fact he’s half white so even a in racist mind he’s half right…]

You’re getting closer! But you just can’t seem to figure out that Jeezy and Jay-Z voted for him and are celebrating the color of his skin… and not, perhaps, ANY other achievement that would qualify him as a president. Nope. Just black skin.

[It is a historical first worth celebrating, and diversity in government and our country is good.]

So next time a white man is elected, we should celebrate that the skin color of the president has changed again. Such wonderful diversity!

          7. “Not only does the sound account for his reason…” What does that mean? Sound of his voice? The musical style?

“…I have already quoted him numerous times in this comment section where he made a statement about voting for him because he is black.” Please quote again, I can’t find it.

“….he made a statement about voting for him because he is black (the black half of him, anyway).” Quote please? You have to prove what you are saying is not your emotional anger, and actually reality or no one will ever believe you.

“But you just can’t seem to figure out that Jeezy and Jay-Z voted for him and are celebrating the color of his skin” Again with this magical mind reading skill of yours. You don’t know why they voted the way they did. And no where in the song to the say he is a good president because he is black. Hi is worth celebrating because he is black, which the quotes I used show.

“So next time a white man is elected, we should celebrate that the skin color of the president has changed again. Such wonderful diversity!” Diversity is more than skin color, it is also culture, background, etc…
            Noun
The state of being diverse; variety.
            A range of different things.

How is a Rich White Male becoming president diverse? If the next president (regardless of color) brings something amazing to the table, yes celebrate. For example, our current president is putting money into transportation and trains. I think that is worth celebrating.

You have yet to make any legitimate argument for anyone being Racist. In the song you used to back you up there is NO evidence of racism (as previously defined) but lots of evidence of of supporting a president that is more like the artists who made the song than previous presidents. No one is colorblind here, and shouldn’t be. But being black is more than the color of skin. There is a culture and history as well.

          8. I’m not going to make up for your laziness. I have already quoted him directly to prove my point. If you want to find the answer, you search for it. I even quoted it in bold at least one.

          9. “Not only does the sound account for his reason…” What does that mean? Sound of his voice? The musical style?

To lazy to answer a question?

The bold quotes you posted had nothing to do with Racism. They appeared to be random actually. Please show a quote where Jay Z voted for President Obama because of the color of their skins being the same.

Calling someone racist is a pretty heavy claim. If you have no proof, then you are spouting hate. Quite unpatriotic, imho. Patriotism can be different things to different people because it is what we think is best for our country on a whole. Celebrating diversity is patriotic. I think Jay Z from what I have heard him say so far, is a patriot. You on the other hand are just pointing fingers and making blasphemous claims.

I am not defending JayZ, as you claimed without basis. I am asking you to show proof of your claim. Which you have not.Your argument. Jay-Z is racist because of the song My President is Black. No where in the song does Jay Z say he voted for President Obama. Or that he supports the president because of the color of his skin.

          10. [To lazy to answer a question?]

I already told you that I have answered it multiple times already, and you call me lazy because YOU won’t search for it in this same comment section?!

[The bold quotes you posted had nothing to do with Racism.]

LOL, there is no winning or reasoning with your kind. The topic is EXACTLY about his race, and why he voted for him. Black and white, plain as day.

[Calling someone racist is a pretty heavy claim. If you have no proof, then you are spouting hate. Quite unpatriotic, imho]

            Oh, enter the dramatics.

[I think Jay Z from what I have heard him say so far, is a patriot. You on the other hand are just pointing fingers and making blasphemous claims.]

Yeah, Jay-Z is clearly the saint who sings bible verses, and I am the super devil.

[I am asking you to show proof of your claim]

I can’t provide proof if you absolutely refuse to object even his own quotes. No help for you at all at that point.

          11. I`m sorry. I don’t see any quotes you made from Jay Z in our comment section. And there is nothing in bold, but I think that disqus reformats. But I think you mean you quoted him somewhere else in this comment section, which is large.

Just give me one quote that you think is racist. I read the lyrics of the song to double check and there is nothing about voting. So I am not sure if you are now referring to an interview or something.
The quotes I shared, where what I think showed celebrating our first black president. You also never clarified what you meant by the sound (the sound being racist?).

Celebrating a first black president is not racist. I think we agree with that? That it is historic and helps break stigmatism’s from the history of racism in America? We just disagree if Jay Z’s song is celebrating a black president, or racist (which definition you seem to reject).

          12. Voting someone in a public office based in the color of their skin is RACIST. No matter how you paint it to defend Jay-Z, it is RACIST.

How do you think it would look for someone at Widgets Inc. to choose CEO John Doe based on the single qualification that his skin is white? Is that racist?

  42. Young hov is copping a Samsung

  43. LOL..

  44. With the new waterproof s4 samsung is not playing around. for those who were choosing the htc one over the s4 because of the plastic feel now can have an s4 that is rugged yet still sleek and skinny with all the s4 features.

  45. i really can understand the fact that someone can dislike Jay-Z for calling himself God but to say he’s racist and not state where you all are getting that conclusion from upsets me. Really racist? Jay-Z & Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z & Coldplay, Jay-Z & Linkin Park, Jay-Z & Eminem, and Jay-Z and Oasis… RACIST… REALLY!!!

  46. lol ive never seen a post from AmericanPatriot4 before until this one but i am guessing he doesnt like jay-z too much

  47. My phone is an HTC anyway

  48. Maybe he can post on Facebook how much Samsung rocks while using his HTC One.

  49. Jay Z’s awesome but man does he keep bringing in absurd $$$s it doesn’t make me want to hear him rap so much these days. Perhaps it’ll help Androids popularity in the US though, at least, accidentally. Probably 95% of the people I know in NYC have an iPhone.

  50. Can someone explain why some of my posts have been deleted? I think either the admins here should do a better job of not allowing hateful speech here on this site. this site is about android news, not for any other reason. There is a level of expectations that free speech isn’t free. Wars have been fought over words, and have COST LIVES! So lets not get it twisted. There has to be consequence for people who troll here based on race like RacistParrot4.
