Amazon offering $20 off Kindle Fire HD for Father’s Day

Father’s Day is coming up this weekend, and if you don’t already have an idea of what to get the ultimate dad in your life (or if you’re just tapped out from Mother’s day), Amazon’s willing to help. The online retailer has made its Kindle Fire HD tablet available for sale for $20 off whenever you use the code DADSFIRE.

This code will apply to the 7-inch Kindle Fire HD, the Kindle Fire HD 8.9, and the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE models. The sale lasts through June 8th, and it’s only while supplies last so you’ll want to hop on it shortly (though Amazon typically doesn’t have problem maintaining high volumes of stock).

The Kindle Fire HD comes with a 1280 x 800 resolution panel, a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor, 11 hours of battery life, and comes in 16GB or 32GB flavors. The 8.9 inch version boasts a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, but delivers the same experience everywhere else.

And, of course, the LTE edition is identical to the regular 8.9 save for the fact that it can surf on AT&T’s 4G LTE network. This one differs from the former two as you can have it in 32GB and 64GB options.
