Motorola Droid RAZR M Verizon Wireless

It was around this same time last year Verizon Wireless began offering the original Motorola Droid Razr in blue and if you’ve been wondering if/when the Motorola Droid Razr HD or Motorola Droid Razr M were going to get a similar paint job, both handsets are now available in all new metallic blue varieties. The Droid Razr HD is currently priced at $100 with a 2-year agreement and has only a very small trim area in blue, while the Droid Razr M is currently free on contract and features a nice amount of blue across its entire frame.

Both devices are great options for new Android users on a budget and feature specs more than capable of running Jelly Bean. In fact, our Kevin Krause was using the Droid Razr M before experimenting with the iPhone, while Rob Jackson is currently rocking a Droid Razr Maxx. Speaking of the Maxx, it seems the new blue paint job hasn’t made its way over to that device just yet. Anyone particularly fond of the new splash of color?

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

  1. OH BOY! Baby blue!

    (just kidding)

  2. I would love to see a gsm unlocked model with full band support for tmobile and at&t, but alas motorola doesn’t like us like that I wounder why, isn’t our money good enough too?

    1. Indeed. The only reason Motorola is struggling with sales is because they refuse to sell to the majority of their potential customers. If they would allow us to give them our money, their fortunes would change.

      1. Blame that on the old Moto and exclusivity deals.

    2. Even though I’m still a bit peeved @MOTO w/the PHOTON Clusterf*** regarding updates, etc……,I would have considered the MAXX HD on T-MOBILE when I recently switched over from SPRINT.

    3. Sanjay Jha (old Moto CEO) signed some long term exclusivity deals with Verizon that Moto is still getting over.

  3. I am angry at motorola until they make a DROID 5

    1. I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand I need a physical keyboard and the droid 4’s is amazing. On the other hand the build quality is horrendous and the battery life is no existent. I want a droid 5, but it needs to have the metal invincibility of the droid 1, a not texas instrument processor (supposedly this might be what destroys the battery), why qwerty phones must be relegated to mid-level is ridiculous. It should just have same processor/screen/battery as the razr maxx, as well as build quality. (my screen came unglued and all the plastics bent/cracked.

  4. What is VZW smoking?

    1) No HTC ONE
    2) VIVA MOVIL (WTF)
    3) Blue MOTO’s on BIG RED from a mfg whose main marketing color is RED.

    They’re a sadistic bunch of bastards,or what ?!

Must be J-Lo’s favorite color. :-P

    No,wait a sec,that would be $GREEN$………………

  5. Lol… I forgot Moto was still making phones… just die already Motorola… leave this to the big boys…

    1. Why would you want the company that created the cell phone to die? Competition is always great and I’d hate to see Moto die heck I’d hate to see a low end company like huaweii die. Moto makes some sweet phones with their battery, build quality and oh yeah reception. I have a feeling Moto will rise again with the help of Google. I have a Galaxy Nexus right now but wouldn’t mind a HTC, Moto or even an LG as my next. I try to look at phones equally and not be a biased fanboy. Sure I like Samsung but would I sell my soul to it?

  6. yellow please.

  7. I’m hoping that Motorola stops catering to vzw their top of the line devices and spread the wealth with the other carriers or at least make top of the line GSM phones with at&t and tmobile LTE bands…
