Google Play Movies and TV update brings info cards

2

Google has upgraded its Play Movies and TV app to bring info cards for select movies and TV shows. Users can pause the program and get information on actors, songs, directors, related films and more. I’m sure I’m not the only one to whip out my phone in the middle of a movie or TV show to check IMDB and get said information, so having that sort of stuff built into the app is a killer feature for many people.

Other changes in today’s update include the ability to search across your own library and the Google Play Store at the same time, the ability to receive notifications for new episodes of TV shows you’ve bought, a new refresh button in the overflow menu, and availability in India. Get over to the Google Play Store and hit the download button to get all of these features.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

    1. I hate amazon instant! Bring an app to “Android” and we can talk. Until then, they are more like apple in business practice.
