Google+ gets animated GIF profile photos

14

After releasing a major update to their Android app yesterday, Google+ is adding a new network-wide feature that should make for some interesting profile pages. The site now supports animated GIFs as profile pictures, meaning you can capture a moving photo of yourself to add some excitement to your digital landing page. Or, as will likely happen, you can replace your profile photo with one of the numerous animated memes running rampant on the internet. The choice is yours.
