Samsung Galaxy S4 system dump brings wallpapers, ringtones, and S Voice

23

If you can’t wait to get your hands on a Samsung Galaxy S4 then why not try transforming your device into one? Well, it wouldn’t be an actual Galaxy S4, but you would at least have some of the bits that make up the device’s personality. A system dump has leaked bringing us a collection of ringtones, wallpapers, and even the updated S Voice application.

That last bit should be interesting, all things considered — I think most people are of the opinion that Google Now satisfies folks’ digital assistant needs more effectively these days. Nothing’s fundamentally different about the whole ordeal so if you haven’t gotten enough of that on your Galaxy S3 and Note 2, or if you’re just curious to see what Samsung’s assistant is capable of, you can give that a try.

The S Voice APK can be had here, the pack of ringtones here, and the wallpapers here. Download them, transfer them over to storage and have a little fun while we await the real thing.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Why… would… anyone… want… S-Voice?

    1. I freeze s-voice asap. Even if its left in a ROM

      1. So do I

      2. S-Voice? Please. Get that Samsung Music Player out my face. That app doesn’t even close when you leave out of it. It stays running and you have to go to menu and click exit. Excuse me?

        1. Its not a music player. Its samsungs siri

          1. Hmm… Let me say it like this…

“S-Voice? Please. It’s not as annoying as the Samsung Music Player…”

Now do you understand? LoL!! And the app is ACTUALLY called Music Player.

          2. If it’s any consolation, I understood you just fine the first time. Though I have no opinion on the subject…I’ve never used either of those apps.

  2. Thanks! It’d be nice if the files were on a less restrictive host…

    1. Restrictive? All you do is click download. Where’s this restriction you speak of?

      1. It’s no problem if you download 1 of the 3 pakages, but if you want to download all 3 it sucks bigtime :)

    2. The 45 second delay, limited speed, and 1 download per 30 minutes, that’s all.

  3. If I’m not mistaken, last time a leak like this occurred, and S-Voice apk was floating around, Samsung sent out legal notices to have them removed. I remember it well, as I had S-Voice on my E4GT last year, after an S3 system dump was released.

    1. Yeah, but that was before Google Now. you’d think they’d be pro “try it out” now, on the off chance someone likes it more, and decides to buy Samsung for the S- integration

  4. Lol #yoloswag

  5. Dafuq…
Congrats camelsnot, you’re the biggest troll on Phandroid.

  6. Why haven’t you been banned yet? :-)

    1. Yea he needs to be banned.

  7. looking better every day

  8. These ringtones suck, and if you don’t want to wait 30 minutes just clear your cookies, it worked for me that way.

  9. Does this version of S-Voice offer any improvements over the current VZW stock ROM version?

    1. IMO its more accurate and faster than before , feature wise it still does the same just better.

      1. Thanks for the reply!

  10. S voice has definitely improved! I will actually use this now.
