Nexus 7 dock finally lands in the Play Store for $30

14

Up until now, the Nexus 7 desktop dock has been a bit hard to find. It was scattered about at a random hodgepodge of online retailers, and because of its relative lack of availability those retailers jacked the price up to obnoxious levels. If you’ve been waiting for Google to get off its keister and add it to its own online storefront, though, today’s your lucky day.

The dock is sitting in the Google Play Store, and Google’s only asking you to drop $30 in order to have on shipped to your doorstep. The dock isn’t very special — it’ll cradle your tablet, has a 3.5mm output jack for external speakers/headphones and has a microUSB port for charging — but it’s official, and it’s priced pretty reasonably. Grab it here.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  9. Are you kidding me this thing is out of stock now?!? WTF google get your inventory straight. I’ve wanted this since the device was released and I wait a day and it’s gone again.

  10. I hate complaining but… these really need to be out when the devices are launched. I have a Nexus 10 and STILL do not have any accessory options. =
