The Android Overload is where we feature the biggest news stories from throughout the day (see above video), as well as stash all of the stories/articles/news bits that didn’t make it onto our front page. But just because they weren’t featured doesn’t mean they aren’t worth taking a look at. In fact, there’s almost always a little something here for everyone. So, take a look around and let us know if you find anything of interest.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

  1. I thought the Thunderbolt update was funny! “Some of those people aren’t alive anymore…” insert death march here! It was gold Jerry, gold! [Bania]

    1. why is it funny? If you bought the phone new you’re only available for a new phone starting last month on contract. For people with legacy unlimited data plans, this revives their old phone without having to root. Kudos to VZW and moreso, HTC, for keeping their promise. I had all but given up on HTC. Maybe this is part of the newer improved HTC.

      1. The fact that Chris lightheartedly said some people that bought the phone probably aren’t alive anymore. That was said jokingly, to which I laughed a lot. I think Chris does a great job with being humorous. That’s why I added the YouTube clip of Seinfeld. If you read and understood that I was making fun of people on contract with the HTC Thunderbolt, you need to introduce yourself to decaffeinated coffee, drink less stimulants, try “medicinal” marijuana. To quote my boy, the Joker: Why so serious?

  2. Just an FYI, CM’s clock widget name has already been decided: cLock. So…. no more help is required.

    1. Nice, I’ll update that now :)
