Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen are teaming up for their best effort since The 40 Year Old Virgin — Samsung’s ad for “el Plato Supreme.” Or that’s what they are calling “The Big Game” in this newly released teaser for the multi-million dollar spot to premier during this week’s showdown between the San Francisco “50 minus 1ers” and the Baltimore “Blackbirds.” If you’re not hip to the jive I’m spitting, just watch the above video.

In all seriousness, Samsung has dropped the teaser just a few days ahead of the Super Bowl, whetting our appetites for the final ad to premier during Sunday’s game. Yes, the Super Bowl is the one time during the year where a company can release an ad for an ad and people actually get excited about it.

Though he may not be allowed to say the team’s name in a TV spot, Rudd should be no stranger to the Ravens, or at least their all-pro middle linebacker Ray Lewis. He appeared in a series of commercials for EA Sports’ Madden 13 alongside the future Hall of Famer. It will be interesting to see the final direction Samsung’s ad will take, but if this tease tells us anything, it will have plenty of hashtags.
