Want the Galaxy S3 for just $100? While we’re sure more deals will come up closer to the holiday season, this is one of the best deals you’re going to get o a Samsung Galaxy S3 if you aren’t interested in waiting that long. Unfortunately for T-Mobile and US Cellular customers this deal doesn’t apply, but any new or existing customer on Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint will be able to get in on it for just one day only. That one day is Sunday, October 14th so be sure to get up bright and early to make sure you don’t miss out.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. When we first heard about the S3 we thought it would be one of those “premium” phones for $299.

Shocked to see it was the same price as our old useless phone: $199

Now only $100???? Maybe if it was 1-2 years old… but the phone is still extremely hot, extremely new, extremely current.

    Where will it all end?

    1. is it wrong to market a premium phone for a much cheaper price? it’s great for regular consumers, win win.

    2. Hopefully it will end with Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint leading the charge to price the Note II at $199 with a two-year agreement when it arrives in the coming weeks. :D

    3. Lol guess this is why iPhone people clown on us for buying android “because we can’t afford their iPhone .” I wonder when it became a bad thing to get an equal or better device for less money

    4. It will end with the phone being free on contract, and completely forgotten and unsupported by Samsung in another six months. ’tis the way of non-Nexus.

      1. Well, PROPERLY supporting the GS3 would be the perfect time for Samsung to boost their brand as well as Android as a whole. Let’s hope the don’t blow the momentum…..

    5. Android phones don’t hold their value. I promise you the S3 will be free soon for the Christmas holiday.

iPhone holds it’s value because Apple has strict policies on retailer pricing.

      1. Sorry, but I think you are a bit confused.

Fact #1: Apple releases one phone per year. Dozens of Android phones are released each year. The more often you release new models, the faster the previous models depreciate, and the faster they are cleared out at a discount to get rid of the supply.

Fact #2: The iPhone 4 is currently FREE on Verizon. The iPhone 4S/16 is currently $100 on Verizon and Sprint. The Galaxy SII (not avail on Verizon) is $149 on T-Mobile and $100 on Sprint. The Galaxy Nexus is $50 on Verizon and $100 on Sprint.

But yeah…you’re right. The GS3 will drop significantly when the GS4 is released. Then, you’ll be able to get a cheap/free “antiquated” GS3 – that blows away the latest and greatest iPhone. What a sucky situation that is….huh? :)

  2. do i have to be upgrade eligible?

    1. I’m guessing you will. But don’t quote me on that

    2. The article states on a new contract or upgrade…I wonder about full price discount though

  3. Even sweeter if you signed up for Best Buy’s upgrade discount at the beginning of the year. An extra $50 off each line you signed up.

    1. I’m in that boat. Time to finally replace my EVO 4G.

  4. Wonder if there will still be $100 off the full price….I’m not signing a new contract but I’ve been waiting to buy one.

  5. No thanks, I’ll wait for the quad core Note 2!

  6. I’m hoping they’re clearing inventory for the Galaxy Nexus 2 coming to all carriers with a S4 Pro, massively improved camera and LTE battery life.

Sadly that’s probably not the case.

  7. making room for the upcoming Quad core S3..

    1. the quad core has been in europe for a while. but they only get 1 gig of ram we got 2 gigs.

  8. I rather pay the extra $100 to $200 but give me unlimited LTE love or like 10 GB per month

  9. i’ve been seeing the GSIII for $99.99 online for well over 2 weeks, check tigerdirect.com or letstalk.com

    1. thats new contracts, upgrades are around $150-160

  10. Personally I’m waiting for the Stratosphere 2!!! A smartphone with a real/physical slide-out keyboard!!! We all know how hard those are to come across these days!

  11. Samsung may very well have to pay people to use their trash. Apparently, no one really uses it.

I’m not certain which is more pathetic. Samsung trying to make it seem like their GS3 is the best thing since sliced bread, or its lapdogs that continuously defend it.

  12. That’s really awesome…. Oh, I thought it was the Galaxy Note II. Release the Galaxy Note II already!

  13. Nah I am waiting for windows 8 mobile devices. Which if everything goes to plan that should be Nov. 2nd. Nokia Lumia 920 looks pretty good to me on AT&T only. Windows 8 will be a big thing in general despite its lack of navigation. This is a GREAT deal though $100.00 for this phone with a 2 year contract.

  14. DAMN IT COULD IT AT LEAST WAIT TILL the NOTE II release first still debating cause i need the NOTE II price tag

  15. Your a retard ya no one buys their phones!!! Must be an apple fan boy!

  16. Yes! I also have a $50 upgrade credit. I will be at my Best Buy at 10 am tomorrow morning. I’ve been eyeing this phone for a while, but just didn’t have the funds for it. My son will be pleased, he will be getting my Moto Razr…

  17. Time for me to retire my Captivate and get a Galaxy S 3.

  18. they’re also only $99 at radio shack’s website for sprint

  19. its actually for all 4 big carriers for $99, at least on bestbuy.com

  20. damnit, saw this too late…anyone having luck BB still giving deal?
