Six more cities also getting AT&T 4G

4

The other day we learned AT&T would be bringing 4G LTE to Birmingham and Memphis, but it looks like even more cities than that are set to get the high speed mobile data network.

Portland, Pittsburgh, Seattle, Detroit, Sacramento, and  Honolulu  are all good to go for fast consumption of data. You’ll need a 4G-capable smartphone, tablet, or hotspot, of course, but you probably wouldn’t be reading this site if you didn’t already have one of the three. Let us know if you’re seeing any of these cities light up.

  1. Got 25mbs down and 20mbs up in Seattle this morning. It has always said “4G” in my status bar, but this morning it started saying “4G LTE”. I’m enjoying the fast speed today and tomorrow until all the iPhone users come online Friday and ruin it for everyone.

  2. Portland lit up this morning as well. 12mb up, 9 mb up

  3. Saw it first thing this morning, but haven’t tested it out since I’m in wi-fi most of the day with a small data plan.

  4. Att sucks major butt. Tmobs is boss on 4g
