Global versions of new RAZR phones inbound

9

It’s easy to forget that today’s announcements didn’t just pertain to Verizon’s upcoming crop of RAZR devices. Alongside their US-exclusive DROID variants Motorola has confirmed that we’ll be seeing global versions of the Motorola RAZR HD, RAZR MAXX HD, and RAZR M, as well.

While those of us in the US will likely need to import them to use on GSM carriers, customers in Europe, Asia, South America, and Canada will likely be able to grab these through contract plans as well as full price purchases. We can’t say for sure where, exactly, it’s going yet, but at least we know they’re coming.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Will it have tmobile’s aws bands?

    1. I hope it does. I would sell my gs3 for this phone.

    2. T-mobile has really been missing the high-end Androids, my only guess is they are waiting for a big LTE launch next year with premium devices, or at least that’s what I’m hoping, otherwise, another 12 months of crappy hardware and I might leave. Am hoping either the new Sony or Motorola phones will support T-mobiles HSPA+

      1. Don’t they have the GS III and HTC One S? Not really crappy right?

        1. yes, they are good phones, but I still want more. I don’t want the One S because it doesn’t have a removable battery, and the S3 is just too big for me. I like choices, and would like to see Motorola and Sony phones on T-mobile. But wifi-calling is a big deal for me, so I pretty much have to use a T-mobile branded phone for that.

  2. Will the white MAXX HD have white Kevlar?

  3. No LTE though….

  4. Should’ve go for the HD or the HD maxx instead.
