Are these the final Galaxy Note 2 specs?

23

We’re right around the corner from Samsung’s big unveil in Berlin and we’re expecting them to bring the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with them. It seems someone has leaked the device’s specs ahead of time.

Nothing here is surprising considering we had an idea of what the specs would be long ago, but there’s nothing like a little added affirmation. We’re said to be getting a 5.5 inch HD display, Android 4.1.1, a 1.4GHz Samsung Exynos 4412 processor, an 8 megapixel camera, storage options of 16GB and 32GB, and LTE where available.

Earlier today we were able to get a look at alternative color options, and now there’s one thing left to see: the device itself! It has impressively eluded the eyes of many for this long, and it looks like we’re going to have to wait until the Unpacked event barring a last minute appearance. [via Seoul.co]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. can’t wait for this

  2. Why keep on guessing when we will find out on Wednesday?

  3. Why still making 16gb model. My 32gb gn running out of space already. The cloud storage require Internet and not fast enough if I want to access a 1gb file size.

    1. Is that all applications eating up your space? If the answer is no, unless your carrier has somehow locked down the phone, you can move most assets( images, video, music, etc ) to a MicroSD Card.

      1. My gnexus doesn’t have a card slot and I use Verizon 4g, but still not fast enough to download a gig file. Most of my storage came from roms and backups.

        1. if you have a wireless router and a laptop (or another android device), simply use the app airdroid to pull your backup files off your phone. that should clear up a lot of space.

          1. I did that and Im still short on space on my Galaxy Nexus. And frankly, I shouldn’t have to do that. I know Google and oems are making this move to the cloud, but we aren’t there yet…they are getting rid of expandable storage too soon, imo.

          2. Agree 2000%

  4. Oh please Verizon get this phone. Been holding off on the GS3…

    1. THIS

      1. IS SPARTA!!!!!!

  5. Doubt that it will have lower resolution than its predecessor.

  6. I hope they release one on T-Mobile. I REALLY hope they release on on T-Mobile with future LTE compatibility. Am I California dreaming?

  7. SUCH A LOW resolution 720p same as s3 but almost inch bigger? Such low dpi! The lg Optimus g is looking more and more appealing. Super lcd and thinner and smaller footprint higher dpi! The resolution better be higher than this spec sheet!

    1. I don’t think that you will be overjoyed with a LG Optimus G…

  8. 120×720? Why?

  9. Doesn’t seem like enough of a bump in specs for me. It’ll need some cool stuff to get me to sell my Note LTE for this.

  10. WANT WANT WANT WANT

  11. What good is the picture if none of us can read Chinese?

    1. Why would it be in Chinese? Its Korean….

      1. I was being a smart ass.

  12. 4.1.1… jelly bean?!? errr… makes me doubt the leaked image

  13. It’s an obvious fake, lower resolution than the orginal … please.
