Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi receiving Ice Cream Sandwich in the US

7

The reports are rolling in that the US version of the Samsung Galaxu Tab 10.1 WiFi is now receiving its update to Ice Cream Sandwich. The news comes only a couple of weeks after the same update hit versions of the Tab 10.1 in Europe. The update brings the slate’s Android version to 4.0.4 and software version to IMM76D and is currently headed out over-the-air, but if it’s not showing up just yet it also appears to be ready for manual installation via Samsun Kies. 1. No longer have mine (wife busted it, grr), but glad to see it’s FINALLY getting ICS. I hope it helps with speed like my Prime now has. :)

  2. Me and my girlfriend got the update today… work a little faster.

  3. The picture for this article is not the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wifi. It’s the Galaxy Tab 10.1v

  4. They should have skipped ICS (which they should have had an update for months ago) and gone straight to JB

  5. my Google IO Galaxy tab 10.1 isn’t seeing the update with either Kies or Over the air.

  6. Used kies and it installed perfectly. Not sure why samsung changed the way ICS handled folders on the home screens. Stock ICS is better with the drag and drop of icons onto each other to auto create a folder. Loving the task manager swiping the programs from the recent apps list.

  7. I was able to use keiss to upgrade
