Amazon hosts mid-Summer sale with discounts on Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC EVO 4G LTE, and more

9

Amazon’s hosting a “hot mid-Summer” sale for anyone looking for some nice new hardware. It’s heavily favored for Sprint and Verizon, but if you are on these two carriers (or are thinking of switching) you’ll want to see what they have to offer. For Sprint, The HTC EVO 4G LTE can be had for just $80 with a usual price of $130.

Sprint’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 is on sale for $140. This isn’t much cheaper than the going rate of $150, but it’s cheaper nonetheless. Note that this is for the 16GB version only.

For Verizon, both the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Motorola DROID RAZR have been dropped to a penny. These phones aren’t the newest and greatest you can find at this point but they are still very decent offerings (especially for the price).

As usual, upgrades won’t be allowed here: you’ll need to be a new customer or add a line to get the phones at these advertised prices. Find links to each deal in straight ahead. [EVO 4G LTE, DROID RAZR, Samsung Galaxy S3 (Sprint), Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Verizon)]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Nah… it’s all about unlocked, unmolested pure Android straight from Google and the Play Store!

    1. Only if those rumors of multiple nexus phones from various manufacturers turn out to be true. There is a lot to be said for unlocked and pure Google, but the GNex as a phone just doesn’t light my fire. I’d rather have a GS3 with CM10 or AOKP. Or even better, the hardware equivalent with Nexus branding straight from Google.

      1. Agreed but the fact that you can pick up a new Gnex for $339 shipped from Expansys makes it hard to justify spending $600+ on an SIII. I wonder how much the next Nexus is going cost once released

  2. I’m waiting on amazon to have a penny sale on the gs3 for AT&T

  3. I wish they’d discount the off contract price too.

    1. You wish

      1. Yes, that is why I said, “I wish…”
