Verizon has finally come clean with an official launch date for HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE two months after unveiling the phone at CTIA in May. The phone will be available July 5th and is priced at $149.99 on a new two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate. As the name implies, the handset will be privy to Verizon’s high-speed LTE network and features a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 4-inch qHD display, and Android 4.0 with HTC Sense 4. While not officially a member of HTC’s One family, the Droid Incredible 4G LTE gets many of the same capabilities, including ImageSense and Beats Audio integration. 1. Am I missing something in the press release where ImageSense has been confirmed?

    1. Yea, I thought we were relatively sure it wasn’t getting ImageSense??

  2. What a disgrace.

    1. Not necessarily a disgrace but I wish VZW would get a One X/LTEVO clone.

      1. Exactly. Why would they pass up those, for this? I have a Verizon Nexus, and love it. But, it is no One X, or EVO LTE. I work at a Sprint Store. I get so excited every time I activate an EVO : ). It is the best feeling phone I’ve ever held. If only Sprint had LTE here. I may get one anyway, but I’m trying to resist the urge of having 2 phones. But, I could use my wifi tether on my Nexus to give my EVO some LTE goodness haha

  3. I can’t believe that this is hitting the shelves before the Galaxy S3…Ugh!

    1. It’s been leaked since 2011, they have prepared this phone long before SGS3, but also in a small quantity, the GS3 will be sold in mass, which is why logistics take a long time

  4. Sounds like an excellent phone to me,especially w/a removable battery & SD Card slot.

This could be the perfect phone for someone on VZW who wants something high-end that falls right between the iPhone & RAZR/MAXX, as screen size is concerned.

  5. Announce a non-flagship, scaled down device as if it matters and then let all competitors beat you at the flagship device…smells like Verizon.

  6. HTC.. prepare for another lawsuit from apple.. not only is it rectangular with rounded edges.. but its a 4″ screen which i’m sure Apple must have a patent for already pending the iphone 5 release… smh
