  1. WinAmp is cool, but I miss Sonique.

  2. Does anyone know if “Album Washer” attach the album art to the music file or link the album art like poweramp?

  3. The stock music app fulfills all my needs.
Well only because it lets me manage my music from the pc (Google music servers)
So I don’t bother with other music apps, although before google music, I did use mSpot for basically the same but fewer reasons

  4. What I would like to see from winamp is the capability to manage music playback from either PC or portable device. I stream my library to two receivers and one squeezebox but inevitably must return to my PC for control. With foobar2000 I can have this, but Winamp is in a better position to architect this freedom.

  5. Test

  6. Great I get a reply by a spammer, sigh. So does mSpot attach it to the file or only link it?

  7. This problem of “album washing” was solved more than a decade ago. I use “Tag & Rename”
    http://www.softpointer.com/tr.htm
It gives you all kinds of control to rename files from tags, extract tags from filenames, extract tags from online DBs, etc.
But all of this is only really useful for ancient non-scene mp3s (e.g. napster, gnutella, kazaa, etc). Any good CD-ripper automatically fills in the tags from the same online DBs.

  8. I’m still not very fond of the UI. They need to update it, or at the very least incorporate a theme system (like the desktop version has) so that those of us who dislike the current interface can change it.
