12

After hitting 500,000+ downloads a week after its debut on iOS, WinZip has finally made it into the Google Play Store. For those that don’t fiddle around with their PC’s very much, WinZip is the ever popular PC application of the same name, used for years by users (and Android “developers”) looking to unzip and zip files into a single, handy archive files.

Much like its PC counterpart, WinZip for Android will give users the ability to not only open .RAR and Zip files, but also all the files contained therein. Sending and receiving multiple files has never been easier. WinZip actually hit the Play Store 4 days ago, but for those that missed out, it is now currently available for download via the link below. Enjoy, guys.

If I find myself needing to unzip something that Astro can’t, then I’ll download this. Good to know it’s out there now.
