Do unlocked tabs still get OTAs. Never unlocked before. It was my first time.

ASUS’ unlocked tabs don’t get OTA’s. You’ll have to get the update via custom ROM.

If you’re encrypted, you cannot use face unlock. Just FYI.

Face Unlock closes “Settings” for me, no good. The rest of the update is nice though, things feel a little snappier, but could be placebo.. Oh well, hopefully another update will be out soon to fix the Face Unlock issue, it’s a gimmick for me, but I’d like to try it before I decide not to use it.. :P

Reportedly (from asus statement on XDA), this also should improve WIFI and GPS, in addition to making the default browser considerably more stable. Per reports on XDA of those using the newest release, it also seems to affect chrome beta, making it a bit more stable as well. Note, none of these things are full fixes, as there’s still poor wifi performance overall, and the browser does still crash albiet less often.
