N.O.V.A. 3 for Android now available

15

The third installment in one of Android’s best shooters has finally made its way to the Google Play Store. I’m talking about N.O.V.A. 3, a futuristic FPS that seems to take a few cues from the Halo series. It’s a first person shooter that features great graphics, 6vs6 online multiplayer, 6 modes, 6 maps, and vehicles with multiple allies. For $7, you won’t go wrong if you’re a fan of shooters in general. Find it in the Google Play Store here.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

I played Nova 2 on my DroidX and it was surprisingly smooth (Angry Birds and Doodle Jump lag sometimes on my phone). I can’t wait to get my Transformer Prime back so I can play this.

Does anyone know if this is compatible with bluetooth game controllers?

    1. It should be! I think the bluetooth game controllers serve as replacements for the on-screen controls, but I could be wrong…

      1. You are correct in your assumption sir!

  3. Why couldnt you just wait for me to DL data before you announced it lol. Taking forever and required 1.7gb. I’m dling on my Asus Prime. I wonder if theres a difference in quality for tablets.

  4. Halo/Crysis? I’m cool with that.

  5. Gameloft blocks my touchpad. It lets you download it, but after downloading all the extra content says it’s incompatible. By then you can’t get a refund, thanks Gameloft.

    1. You can install an alternate build.prop file (or I think edit the one you have) that fakes the Play Store and Gameloft into thinking you have a different device. It worked for my phone, I’m sure someone must have made one for the Touchpad by now.

I had this issues too. The Play Store said it was compatible. I bought a Gameloft game and tried to run it and it says it was incompatible. Installed an alt build.prop and it works great.

      Good luck.
