Sprint expects EVO 4G LTE shipments to arrive in the next few days

10

Sprint has released an official statement following news earlier that HTC’s devices have cleared US Customs inspections. Their stake in all of this lies with the HTC EVO 4G LTE, of course, which has only gotten shipped to those who preordered the device. They’ve not yet hit store shelves for a retail release, but all that will change soon.

They’re expecting shipments within the next few days, and while they’re not ready to give a solid date just yet we have a feeling Sprint won’t drag their feet on it, and they won’t let the day go by without letting all of us know. We’ll be bringing you that information as soon as it lands so circle back over the course of this week and possibly early next week. [via BriefMobile]

“While Sprint customers who pre-ordered their HTC EVO 4G LTE received their device last week, Sprint continues to wait for our full inventory from HTC. We recently learned that HTC devices have been released by U.S. Customs. We expect shipments of HTC EVO 4G LTE to enter the U.S. in the next few days. An exact availability date for HTC EVO 4G LTE will be communicated as soon as possible. To access the latest news and device information, visit our Sprint Community page where we’ll be providing regular updates. Thank you for your interest and continued patience.”

  1. Well that’s good, its going to be a beast of a device.

    1. I can tell you that IT IS. It’s an awesome phone!

  2. I’ll point out that the delay was caused by apple but the fact that this phone is now being released shows that apple is weak compared to android manufacturers. I deny the fact that the evo line has now become a mid range device.

    1. I don’t know who is saying EVO is a mid range line… I mean, my 3D is feeling a little mid-range now, a year after it was released, but every EVO has been ahead of the spec curve at release… and yeah, I’m getting this one and passing the 3D on to my daughter :)

  3. I’m ready already, lets have it to much talk about coming soon, I need my ltevo …NOW!!!
