  1. i picked mine up this morning and am taking it back tomorrow…not nearly as nice as the galaxy nexus….silly stuff like led alerts just spoil the experience

    1. More info please… How is the speed, sense 4? And do you mean it does not have LED alerts (like the gnex)

      1. It has a tiny led light hidden behind the speaker grate……for $600 I want a real notification light that is easily customized. Other than that and all the preloaded apps, it is a very nice phone

        1. The HTC EVO 4G has this same notification light i enjoy it it is nice because I think that the N-light is ugly on the surface of phones…

      2. Speed is fast. I have not noticed any lag. Sense 4 is a lot lighter as a skin, but it is definitely still a skin and there are some noticeable differences from vanilla ICS. Overall though it’s pretty enjoyable.

Display is beautiful. If you hold in next to a galaxy nexus, the One X is the clear winner in the display department. (and no you don’t need to hold it 6″ from your face to tell)

The LED is tiny, but bright. It is only red or green though, so G-Nex and SGS3 would win in this category. (Honestly I can’t see how you would let an LED notification light dictate your purchase)

There is a crap ton of preloaded apps, but most you can hide, and AT&T is to blame for that.

Battery life has been surprisingly amazing. It is only Day 1, so I am going to need more time with the phone, but I am impressed.

And LTE is fast. As long as you have AT&T LTE in your area, it is awesome.

        1. Red, green, and orange notification lights on mine..

    2. Had HTC put in a real LED notification light, 2100 mAh battery, and 32GB of storage they would have slammed a home run.

However it is either this or the SGS3 and personally I think this phone looks a lot better. I have a couple weeks to try it and if I don’t like it I can always take it back.

      1. Droid razr hd may have the best device of the year, if not htc one x

        1. Too bad I’m on AT&T and will never see the Droid Razr Maxx HD.

But a 720p screen, 3300mAH battery, with a Qualcomm S4 would be amazing

  2. I’m going with the Galaxy S III – removable battery and expandable memory slots are 2 must haves for me. Not to mention the wireless charging pad will be an excellent thing. On my desk at work and my nightstand. I just wish it would charge without having to have direct contact with the charging pad. Still, it’s a great feature.

  3. I’m getting mine after work TOFAY. I think I will like it since I’m still rocking my Atrix (how sad ><) I'm not a power user so the phone will suit me well :)

    1. I’m rocking an Atrix right now too. Honestly it’s a great little phone, although I feel the last OTA actually messed things up.

  4. Wait until sgslll. Lol. I’m looking maybe October release.

    1. actually might be sooner i think their was an earlier article that rumored it to arrive june-july

      1. it wasn’t clear which clear carrier was getting it in june. I’m betting T-Mo and AT&T will get it earlier than Verizon. Big Red Tape tends to slow things down.

  5. Just picked mine up this morning. Loving it so far. Screen is gorgeous, the phone feels great in my hand, and everything is silky smooth.

    1. i am glad you are enjoying your device, i wish verizon will this device now.

  6. Ordered mine from Amazon. Hoping it ships soon!

    1. i know, my amazon order isnt supposed to come until wednesday.

  7. After replacing the stock keyboard with Swiftkey, I am loving my One X! Stock keyboard was bad.

  8. GSIII has removable/expandable memory & battery. No thank you HTC!!!

  9. It is amazingly light and the sreen is beautiful.

  10. I just got mine today and so far I completely agree with Butters619’s comments. Very happy with the purchase so far, but will need more time to test battery… however, so far, so great!

  11. I was suprized at the screen difference vs the rezound.

  12. The battle is between the htc one x and droid razr HD
